That's what he wants ... with the Jamaican super athlete telling TMZ Sports he "lives for" being an action star in the next phase of his life -- as long as he can be in a flick with Jason Statham!
Of course, the two are friends ... and Statham even had Usain at the 'Expendables' premiere back in the day.
But now that Bolt is coming up on his retirement from track, he'll have a lot of free time on his hands ... so, maybe have his people call Statham's people??
