Online auction site eBay is staging a major auction of iconic movie memorabilia beginning on Friday.

Fans can get items including George Clooney's 'Batman' suit, and props from screen classics including 'Citizen Kane', 'Gone With the Wind,' and contemporary films including 'Alien' and the 'Star Trek' series.

In an attempt to put Toronto back on the international theatrical landscape, on par with New York and London, the city has premeired the most expensive musical of all time -- a $27 million (U.S.) production of J.R.R. Tolkien's 'The Lord of the Rings.'

The three-and-a-half hour production features 55 actors, 500 pieces of armor, 17 elevators, a rotating floor, and flying characters; it has taken over four years to produce. Toronto is hoping the production will revitalize tourism in the city, following its sharp drop due to the SARS scare back in 2003.

Brian Grams, VP of sales at the Volo Auto Museum in Volo, Illinois, tells TMZ a simple parts car from a movie set might bring in a scant $800, but if it was driven by one of the stars it could command a crazy amount of money.

'EXTRA' sat down with actress Gretchen Mol to discuss her lead role in 'The Notorious Bettie Page,' opening in theaters on April 14. Page was one of America's first sex symbols in the 1950s and she became the subject of a Senate investigation due to her bondage-related photos.

Mol discusses what it took to shoot the nude scenes, which were an essential part of the role.

If 2005 hits were any indication, it appears that people will just embrace something familiar if they think it's quality entertainment. Cases in point: The latest installments of the 'Star Wars' and 'Harry Potter' movies became the year's top blockbusters; returning hitmakers 50 Cent and Mariah Carey delivered smash albums; and 'CSI,' 'American Idol' and 'Desperate Housewives' continued to dominate the TV landscape.

The documentary by director Chip Duncan is being made in partnership with Relief International, a Los Angeles-based aid organization. Pakistan's government also supported the project.

Relief International is worried that not enough food aid is in the pipeline for survivors of the Oct. 8 quake, which killed 87,000 people and left about 3 million homeless.

Duncan said he expected the documentary would be released on U.S. public television later this year. Excerpts will be used for fundraising, he said.
