Sorry Britney! Many say Britney Spears' interview with Matt Lauer last week on "Dateline" evoked feelings of pity and sadness for the pop princess. Now some of Britney's biggest fans (on the Web at least) are sending out their versions of condolence cards.

Several bloggers, including Pink Is The New Blog and Popbytes, have submitted photos to AOL's Viral Video Blog offering words of support. Messages range from "Sorry we make fun of you every day Britney!" to "At least you don't have an eating disorder."

2. From the public perspective, she's a bad mother... not properly using safety seats...driving with her baby in her lap...drinking and dropping (her child), which apparently the bodyguards are really there to protect the baby from her... So what if you can sing and pre-prego looked pretty good (not drop dead gorgeous, but OK)...but deep down, she still acts out as the stereotypical "white-trash" mother.

3. I am just too tired of all the Britney crap. Nobody really gives a dump about her except pubescent teeny-boppers, record execs, and guys who want to screw her.

She's just another cute girl with very moderate singing talent and lightweight dancing ability who was pushed into all this very early by her mother. Basic maturity eludes her just as good taste eludes her when choosing her playmates.

The girl's parenting skills can't be expected to be any better than her mother's. All of the useless media fruit loops who pursue Britney for the sake of some sorry scandal rag are no better than skid row pimps.

She needs to take her money, go back to Louisiana and find a real person to marry, and get fat and happy.

4. Aside from OJ Simpson, I have never seen a celebrity fall from grace at such rapid speed & so deservingly. This is what happens when you yank children from middle school and exploit them. You have someone who is childlike in their thinking and conduct & living in a delusional world. I hope she can surround herself by people who can teach her to carry herself with some poise, dignity, direction and sensibility. She is sweet, at times, but so dangerously foolish.

6. I tend to agree that yes, at least Britney is not anorexic. That said, she is still trashy (and not in a good way.) I certainly won't bash her mothering skills (or lack thereof) as I know the media frenzy surrounding her will always try to find some embarassing shot of her or another way to make her look bad. The problem is, she makes herself look bad enough. Exhibit A: that interview with Matt Lauer--I thought at least ONE of the directors/producers would make her take that stupid piece of gum out of her mouth, but NO. I was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo grossed out seeing that thing rolling around between her teeth and tongue--EEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWW!! I won't even bring up anything more than Exhibit B: her outfit. 'Nuf said.

7. WoW, has this little country girl have people in an uproar! I know most of us mom's have made our own mistakes. I left a cord to a crock pot filled with water on my counter hanging down, and my 7 month old was in a walker (which people don't use now because of the danger..trial and error) and he pulled it down on top of his walker tray! The lid shattered in slivers of glass, the water went everywhere...but my son wasn't touched. Trial and error! I was a very young and inexperienced mom. That was 22 years ago. Ok, that was in your defense Britney. Now, let's talk about the car seat issue! When you said "WE'RE COUNTRY!!" as if it were a legitamate reason. How long have you NOT been "country" little girl? Quite a few years now. I would venture to say you abanded that title when you stripped down to barely nothing during an awards show. You knew what you were doing. If you wanna hide behind the "you can take the girl out of the country......" bit, I guess what you mean is country people are stupid? Get some form of blinds for your hot little Los Angeles cars. Pull them shut, put the baby in his seat, drive away. it's really very simple. You have ALL these intelligent people around you that have helped build you this empire. Good Greif! Not one of these adults have small children, or KNOW that car seat goes in facing backwards? You can READ can't you? It says it right on the dam carseat itself! I just don't get it Britney! How can someone who can bulid a mulit-million dollar business not read instructions on how to install their baby's car seat so the poor thing doesn't get killed while you are trying to escape those blood sucking photographers? This is about Sean's safety. Not your ability (or lack of) judgment as a new mom. Slow down honey. Take the time to think a few things thru. Acting on impulse really isn't a wise choice. I think I am so much more bothered by the backwards car seat, then you putting him on your lap. That was poor judgment, the backwards carseat was just ignorance. It really is a shame you have to learn all your trial and errors in front of everyone. I know it isn't fair. Don't let them shake you up so much that your vision is blurred and the next choice you make could end in a disaterous and traggic result. Stay strong. They're not worth it, but Sean is.

9. I think its awful that Britney can't go anywhere with her own baby, without being followed every second by the press. Brit and her husband seem very happy, the press needs to stop writting false things about them. She has given the world to her fan's and let the press alot closer than alot of star's do. Every-one needs to back off and let her live her life. I was born into a show -biz family, I know what she lives with all the time, my heart goes out to Brit and other stars stalked by the press.

11. Why do people hate celebrities? What's so wrong with your life that you have to insult others who are doing better than you? I don't understand people who leave ugly nasty remarks about these HUMAN BEINGS. Yes, just like me and you they are human beings, and they should be treated as such. No one here can say they truly know these people unless you are in thier lives PERSONALLY. You know why there are paparazzi out there? So people who claim to detest these human beings can look at them and see all of thier human flaws just to make themselves feel better. Admit it, if you didn't like to hear about Britney Spears and her family you wouldn't have taken your time to click on this link, read the story, and then post some irrelevant comment about how she's not worthy of being in the spotlight. Truth of the matter is, she is in the spotlight, she is adored by millions of fans, she has sold millions of records, and she has millions of dollars. If she didn't have any talent, she wouldn't be here eight years later. Yes she may be a little rough on the edges but you know what . . . SHE'S HUMAN! She has made mistakes as many of us have, but yet we aren't required to answer for our actions in front of millions of people. Many people judge her for her mothering skills, but one thing everyone forgets is she's a young mother. She could be a party girl and have her son at home with a nanny and not have a second baby, but she chose another route instead. She chooses to be with her son, take care of him, and even have another child at such an early age. Why doesn't anyone take that into account? If paparazzi were to come into your lives and ambush you like they do these celebrities, you too would feel overwhelmed. They are public figures but they also have a right to privacy. Everyone has skeletons in thier closets and if we were to dig into peoples lives the way we do with celebrities, there is a big possibility of looking horrible to the rest of America as well. I'm sure I'll get rude comments back over what I've just written but it won't bother me, because in the end, you don't know me, you know me only by the words I've written. Let those without sin cast the first stone . . .

12. I am 52 with 2 kids over 13. People criticizing Britney's parenting will discover one day that Britney's kids are well-adjusted and theirs are overprotected, hypersensitive and resentful. Britney may have had her kid on her lap--but the kid wasn't with a substitute parent like a nanny or a maid. Unlike a flock of other celebs she actually had her OWN kids. Didn't do the "in" thing by adopting one because she worried about some loser criticizing her postpartum clothing. This woman is successful, well-adjusted and nice: no drugs, no crimes and no attitude. Good for her! Her critics are cynical losers.

13. Like, Oh MY Gawd, could Britney be any more annoying?! All of her life she's had to strip to next to nothing, drape herself in snakes, marry someone for a few hours and kiss Madonna just to get a little attention. Now she's surprised that people might be pointing out her obvious lack of judgement when it comes to her personal life. Oh please Britney, if your brain was half as big as your boobs you might not be in the situation you are now.

14. Oh my gosh! Give her a break. EVERY mother would look like a crappy mother if the paparazzi was stalking them & put every little mistake she made on the front page. They never show pictures of her being a good mother because its not a good story. They only show us the bad side. So wht if her baby almost fell? That happends to people ALL the time. My little brother almost fell like 3 times when he was a baby. Every mother has made mistakes but they just don't have camera posting pictures across the globe. Im sure Britney is a fine mother so please let it rest.

15. Britney Spears was doing great in her career. When she decided to be a homewrecker is when everything fell apart. Her babies daddy was already someone elses baby daddy. As a matter of fact he had a pregnant girlfriend. Britney being a woman should have atleast cared about that. So let's let white trash be white trash and keep watching her fall harder and harder.
