Don't Call Andy Roddick a Metrosexual

Andy RoddickAndy Roddick is not a fan of the man purse.

The tennis star has lashed out on his website against the growing English trend.  Roddick writes "I have seen some guys walking around with man purses here in London.... anything bigger than a money clip or a wallet is to be left to your girlfriend/wife...and just so we are clear you should not be able to throw your "wallet" over a shoulder...if you have a man purse, the wall is waiting."

While Roddick may have an issue with British style he hasn't let it affect his love of London, saying " I think I feel more at home here than in any other city we travel to."

Roddick, who is in England for Wimbledon, even gives his two cents on Kevin Federline and calls him the "Butthead of the Week,"adding "He really did nothing out of the ordinary, but let's be honest, this was inevitable."

Perhaps he saw K-Fed carrying a man purse.

2. Two questions: He said, ...if you have a man-purse, the wall is waiting." Does anyone know what that means? And: What did he mean when he said, .."let's be honest, this was inevitable" when K-Fed called him Butthead of the Week.

9. Leave Andy Roddick alone. It's freedom of speech!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! People for get that. If he has a problem with men wearing or caring purses that's his problem and he can say whatever it is that he wants to, but as long as he isn't throwing more wood into the fire..

11. This article is poorly written. I can't tell if Andy is calling Kevin a Butthead or if Andy commented on Kevin calling Andy a Butthead. Obviously, this is the first I've heard of it, or I'd know. Do you think "the wall" means putting a male purse-carrier in front of a firng squad? Yes, this article leaves one with more questions than answers.....

13. Andy Roddik has no reason to be saying anything about anyone. Who the hell does he think he is? Just because he is too insecure in his own sexuality doesn't mean other, more REAL MEN, can't express themselves the way they feel appropriate. The Williams sisters are more men than Andy will ever be.

15. Ok first of all don't make uneducated comments. If you are a fan of andy's you know what the "wall" is, if your not then shut up and don't worry about it. Secondly he IS the #1 american tennis player in the world, and for those of you criticizing when did become a bad thing to be 5th best in the WORLD at anything. Thirdly if you have nothing better to do than be on the internet picking apart someones comments and trying to find fault then you may proceed to the wall also. You can all kiss Andy's ace!!!
