Prince William's girlfriend Kate Middleton was spotted over the weekend, watching the heir to the British throne play polo.

The prince's 24-year-old sweetheart, wearing a strapless floral sundress, looked on as the Prince's team rode to victory at Britain's oldest polo venue.

Kate, a regular supporter of the sport, recently took a step closer to the royal inner circle when it emerged that she was receiving protection from William's security team.

According to reports in the UK's Daily Mail newspaper she was seen with a police radio at a recent polo event.

The walkie-talkie is apparently an airwave radio that allows instant access to the Prince's personal protection team - further evidence that their romance is stronger than ever.
