"Grease" Is STILL the Word (After All These Years)

GreaseThe Santa Monica Pier was transformed Tuesday night into a drive-In straight out of the 1950s to celebrate the re-release of the legendary movie "Grease." TMZ cameras rolled as the original cast came out to show their support to all the fans, young and old. Fans in attendance got a special treat when Sha Na Na performed classic hits live like "At the Hop."

So how does Danny Zuko and Sandy Olsson look after this many years? Um... it seems as if John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John had other plans and were not able to attend.

1. This story is sad on so many levels. Who knew that Sha Na Na were still around? Chrickey! They've got to be older than the f*ing Rolling Stones. Oliva Newton-John didn't she die from Bulima a few years ago? "Other plans" no doubt no-wanting-to-be-caught-dead-with-these-losers.

2. Greatest musical of all-time! This movie is timeless. In fact my 14 year old niece loves it they same way I did at 14. Olivia Newton-John is my favorite singer of all-time. No, she's not dead you idiot. I just saw her perform in front of a packed house of 15,000 people. Her daughter, who is drop dead gorgeous, did a duet with her. Olivia is a talented timeless class act. You just can't say that about many artists today.
