Pets are far more loyal than any human and the term unconditional love is truely reserved only for animals. My heart goes out to anyone losing a pet.

Loss of a companion animal can be as traumatic as that of any family member. But I wonder: does George Clooney eat meat? If so, it's just another instance of our culturally schizoid view of and approach to animals.
How awful....losing a beloved pet is such a hard thing to go through, and to lose two in one year? Everything is so different and lonely after a pet dies, especially when you've had one for years and years. I feel for anyone who loses a pet. I don't think its possible to get over the loss you just learn to live with it and its awful.
I hope time heals your sorrow and may the warm memories remain.

RIP Max. Sounds like he had a long and happy life (except for the car incident - I would KILL one of my friends if they hit my pet!). Animals are the best - people suck. Condolences George. Peace out, Max.
