Paula Abdul's press tour to promote the new season of "American Idol" spun out of control today when she landed in the Pacific Northwest.
Paula's curious "appearance" on Seattle's Q13 FOX Morning News took a fast nose dive as the pint-sized Idol judge slurred and giggled her way through the interview.
Anchors Lily Jang and Carmen Ainsworth kept it together as Abdul bobbed and weaved for the camera.
For what it's worth, Paula's rep tells TMZ that it is "much ado about nothing." He says the station had "technical problems with the satellite and her sound was dropped not once but twice. Paula was in a small room by herself with only a cameraman. Paula was distracted and confused by the station dropping the sound. She did not know what was going on."
Clearly.

She did something similiar yesterday on the Channel 2 news in the Bay Area. She was giggly and laughing, constantly looking everywhere in the room, and moving around all the time. When Ross asked her about it, she said it was because she's a dancer and always has to move.
I think she's a little bit of a ditz when it comes to being in front of the camera if she's not singing and/or dancing!
I thought she seemed fine. In a good mood, laughing and giggling...pretty much the Paula we all know and love. She seemed like she was laughing at the anchors, who obviously didn't know what the heck they were doing!
I thought Paula was on drugs even when she was a judge on AI. The stars may be blind, but the public eye isn't. Paula is not fooling anyone, she's wasted.
Paula is an addict...plain and simple..she even says she will be twitching and losing it if this show continues on and she is still a judge when she gets older. I really don't like how she suggests Simon wants her old stretched out skanky crotch. She wishes. She never did have any talent...look at her old high school photo...google it...she is one ugly mess.
She needs to disappear or I will not watch AI...this is not a threat...it is a promise.
I owuld say that she's on meth. from previous experience I know that's probably what is wrong with her.
