The parents of the woman killed in a car crash involving Brandy are suing the R&B singer for $50 million.
TMZ obtained the lawsuit filed today in Los Angeles County Superior Court. Lawyers for the family of the deceased claim, "Defendant Brandy Norwood was driving recklessly in the freeway when her car collided with Awatif Aboudihaj's car."
The $50 million lawsuit seeks both compensatory and punitive damages.
Meanwhile, the Los Angeles City Attorney is considering the CHP's recommendation to criminally charge Brandy with misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter.

Give Brandy a break. What happened to her happens to a lot of innocent people every year. People who are busy and trying to make a living. Suing for 50 million tells me these people care more for money, than the fact that their daughter is gone. I say Brandy pays for the funeral expenses, pays for a proper memorial for the woman, and serves some community service teaching the importance of driving safety. You do all that , and you have a positive result from something bad. They need to cap these damn wrongful death lawsuits ! It's ridiculous ! very sad story. celebrities should not be allowed to drive. They think they are above everything. Why didn't she see all the traffic ahead of her had stopped? Cell phone, daydreaming, whatever it was her fault and she should be sued and pay for what she did.

I was opened to this being an accident, but then read more about it and she was wreckless and now she should pay for taking someones life...especially when you see pictures of her on Rodeo Drive..in another car and shopping like nothing ever happened.
