Anna's Home Will Go to Highest Bidder

2/26/2007 6:47 PM PST BY TMZ STAFF

TMZ has learned the owners of the house in which Howard K. Stern is living are putting the property on the market for a cool $10 million!

Horizons, the Bahamian oceanfront estate in which Anna Nicole lived, was purchased back in October by South Carolina real estate mogul G. Ben Thompson for $950,000.

TMZ has obtained an attorney's letter written to Thompson and his son-in-law, S. Ford Shelley, which states that they have "a good and marketable title to that property... " and there is, "a duly executed and stamped conveyance in your favour."

TMZ has learned Thompson and Shelly are currently interviewing brokerage firms worldwide -- firms that are interested in winning the listing.

In short, it appears Thompson and Shelly have a right to sell the property, which may have skyrocketed in value because of the incredible publicity surrounding the Smith saga. Sources say Stern himself believes the property is worth $10 mil.

Nassau, Bahamas - G. Ben Thompson a South Carolina real estate wheeler-dealer would like to sell this property in Nassau which belongs to, somebody. This is, of course, the infamous last known residence of the late Anna Nicole Smith, now purportedly occupied by her daughter Danielynn and attorney Howard K. Smith. Just who owns the property is anybody's guess, and may not be known until March 14 when a hearing has been scheduled in Nassau by Supreme Court Senior Justice Anita Allen.

According to Thompson, the house was purchased in October, 2006 for $900,000. Adding to the value, Thompson dropped in a new air conditioner and had some painting and plumbing done. Oh, and lest I forget, the house has been re-keyed a couple of times since.

Why invest in real estate out of the United States? Well, simple - let's take a look at the numbers. The hottest market state-side right now is hurricane Katrina ravaged Bilox, Mississippi currently experiencing the highest average annual rate of appreciation in the US at 16.1% compared to 4.68% for the Country in whole. At $10 million, "Horizons" has appreciated 1,011.11% in less than six months! Property sellers and Realtors take notice - gotta be the new locks.

So, what do you get for the $10 million? Well, for now, you may not get anything more than the right to purchase, just as Thompson thus far has no more than the right to sell. Worthless? Your call. But, here is some timely advice from Callenders & Company, Counsel and Attorneys who originally represented Thompson when he "bought" the property;

According to their newsletter "Law Alert: Conveyancing Tips" (Bahamian real estate titles) Volume 1, Issue 6, dated 2004, "Any person or registered corporation wishing to purchase Bahamian real property should instruct a local attorney to investigate title to same to ensure its marketability and absence of liens."

Hmm, sounds like good advice to me. Anybody know a good local attorney? Nevermind, one might just be "conveyanced" with the house. Guess clutter is not such a bad thing after all.

Well, even FOX NEWS is trashing ET's interviews with Howard & Anna! And Stern Pressures Larry TODAY to sign a deal!!

Howard K. Stern Plays Hardball With Larry Birkhead

Anna Nicole: Stern Pressures Larry to Sign Deal

Anna Nicole Smith's two baby daddies (I don't know what else to call them) continue to be in a tug-of-war this morning, even as their beloved cash cow is readied for burial.

Overnight, attorney Howard K. Stern — whose hold on the situation is starting to slip — has been strong-arming photographer Larry Birkhead to do a couple of things: keep Birkhead's legal reps out of Anna Nicole Smith's Bahamas funeral, sign a contract deal with "Entertainment Tonight" and acquiesce even further regarding the future of baby Danniellynn.

Stern, as I told you the other day, has already had one secret meeting with Birkhead in which he cut out the photographer's lawyers.

I'm told that Stern has kept up the pressure on Birkhead, actually presenting him with contracts, sources say, in which Birkhead would join Stern for more exclusive interviews on "Entertainment Tonight" and "The Insider."

"Howard wanted Larry to sign so that it looked like everyone was in agreement, and that it wasn't just Howard benefiting from these deals," my source said. "Larry said the baby's guardian should sign the papers for him and the baby, but he wouldn't. So then Larry wouldn't."

At the same time, Stern is trying to negotiate separately with Birkhead, away from his attorneys, to sign a deal by which Stern would continue to be in baby Danniellyn's life and oversee her finances.

Stern, my sources say, is working as quickly as he can to effect these agreements before he has to turn over the baby to Birkhead, her biological father.

Sources say that Birkhead's representatives are considering taking legal action against Stern's side to prevent further communication between the two sides as soon as today.

The problem, sources also say, is that Birkhead — a novice in these games — continues to be intimidated by Stern.

"Entertainment Tonight" and "The Insider," both owned by CBS Paramount Television, have denied paying for interviews. But I'm told their method – it's semantics — is to "license" footage either directly from Stern or through a third party.

Recently, "ET" used Solana Productions of Southern California in such a deal. Neither Solana or anyone from CBS Paramount answered calls yesterday.

Anna Nicole: Dead, and For Sale

Today, Anna Nicole Smith — a ridiculous person who accomplished just about nothing in her life — will be buried in the Bahamas.

There are several wars taking place all over the world, not to mention famines; artists are hard at work, movies are opening, buildings are going up, diseases are being investigated. But hey: Anna Nicole is being buried, and "Entertainment Tonight" will be there for every cheesy second of it.

That's because "Entertainment Tonight" and "The Insider," two half-hour shows syndicated by CBS's Paramount TV, have paid a high price for this honor.

Real insiders (not the kind you have to pay for info) tell me that Paramount TV cut the deal with Howard K. Stern, Anna Nicole's lawyer and Svengali, right after her son Daniel died of a methadone overdose in her Bahamian hospital room last September.

Paramount TV has denied this, somewhat passively, so far. But my sources say it they paid Stern around $3 million initially, and that this was renegotiated right after Anna Nicole herself died on February 8th of this year.

Of course, we could believe that Stern — who in court told clueless Florida probate judge Larry Seidlin that he was living off his parents — just loves "ET." Anything's possible.

But the reality is that Anna Nicole's death has proven to be a ratings-sweep godsend.

Linda Bell Blue, the show's executive producer, previously helmed Paramount's ugly tabloid show, "Hard Copy." For years she's had to sit through Mary Hart's tedious, publicist-arranged interviews with low-level TV stars, just waiting for this moment: a huge celebrity death, in a sweeps month, and already contracted for!

As recently as last night, "ET" correspondent Mark Steines was reporting "from inside" Anna Nicole's Bahamas mansion — no mention of the fact that it didn't belong to her, and that the landlord is kicking everyone out.

Steines had "the inside scoop" about the B-list country singer who would serenade Anna Nicole into the next life, the color of her burial gown ("pink!") and what would be inside the coffin (with any luck, Anna Nicole).

Steines performs these interviews — as he has since last Nov. 1, when he had his first "exclusive" after Smith's son, Daniel,

If, anyone is listening Anna had bought another house that she was redoing. Did Howard Stern go through with the purchase of the yacht he was looking at when Anna died. Ford Shelley & GB Thompson were helping Anna out. All, I care about is Larry Birkhead getting his daughter. And, let the women rest in peace for god's sake.

Hey Ford - You don't fool anybody for a minute. You knew you had to break into the house and get the goods BEFORE the authorities had a chance to address in order to save your hide. No telling what illegal shenanigans you and your step-dad are implicated in among Anna Nicole's data. Both you and G. Ben have rap sheets and knowingly violated Bahamian and U.S. laws about breaking and entering, after being told you had no legal basis for setting foot on property much less stealing property. I also don't buy that G. Ben had a vasectomy prior to Anna Nicole getting pregnant, but I'm sure he's had surgery now. You "testifying" against Howard K Stern in the inquest is a joke - due to your NUMEROUS conflicts of interest where he is concerned, NO TESTIMONY YOU OR YOUR FAMILY offers is considered credible nor should be given any consideration whatsoever. You have several axes to grind, needless to say. Then all this "safekeeping" you spouted off about...somehow just so happened to show up on FOX, and TMZ for $. Some friend you are to Anna Nicole. By the way, made any more harrassing phone calls lately to business associates threatening people "who can just show up dead"? Since you obviuosly place yourself above the law in improper seizure of personal property WITHOUT EXPRESS WRITTEN AUTHORITY - her'e's hoping any and all information that could have been utilized concerning Anna Nicole Smith's death investigation is summarily dismissed since proper legal procedures weren't observed and it's all inadmissible in a court of law. If I were you and G Ben, I'd slither off and stay lost. Your actions reek of guilt - the old ploy about implicating others and directing blame elsewhere while you feverishly try to cover your own tracks. My hunch is that Howard K Stern has a whole lot of goods on you and G Ben, knows much about your lifestyle and personal information. When he goes down, you can be sure that you"ll inevitably go down with him. I'm certain. By the way - any computer guru can decode a password - good try, but you're really showing your age when you make such ridiculous statements about "passwords". Hey - you may even lose your own kids, Couldn't happen to a nicer guy. As the saying goes........what goes around comes around.

I'm sure the Fords and Thompsons were only TRYING TO HELP Anna escape the paternity and financial issues she was facing in the US, BUT whatif she she didn't have the Bahama Horizons House to RUN to???? Would she had no choice but to clean up her drug problem or face Larry who was seriously concerned about the safety of HIS unborn child??? Larry would have been able to seek much earlier justice in his paternity issue had Anna been in the US to face justice on the paternity issue! Daniel would not have had to travel to the Bahamas and maybe his private investigator's fees wouldn't have been out of Daniel's price range!!! All this horrible pain and suffering Dannielynn's family have had to go through, especially her father and grandmother, might COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED!!! Anna and Daniel might not have had to have died under such mysterious cirumstances! Dannielynn might have had both her parents, Larry and Anna, at her birth! Larry and Daniel MIGHT Have succeeded in getting Anna the much needed help for her drug problems. They might have been able to place her in sometype of drug facility! Then none of us would have any reason to blame Anna's drug pushers for her and Daniel's death! Why would anyone want to purchase a house that only enabled a drugged, frightened pregnant woman running from legal issues to seek refuge in??? Unless I am stupid, I would say the Horizons hideaway contributed tremendously to Anna, Larry, Dannielynn and Daniel's highly emotional charged issues! Only after great emotional pain, great expense and even loss of life, have the true issues surfaced! Anna SHOULD have listened to Larry and to her Mother! Daniel should have contacted his grandmother instead of a private investigator! Mrs. Arthur has every right to want to protect Dannielynn! I am sure her attorney, John O'Quinn WILL find some answers!! On National Television, Mrs. Arthur warned Anna that she could be next! Maybe Anna was so angry because she knew it could be the truth! Anna was trapped in more ways than one! Larry deserved complete care, custody and control of his daughter! God knows he has waited long enough! Mrs. Arthur ALSO wants some assurance that Dannielynn and Larry never get trapped! The two of you please work this out, and bring Dannielynn home to the US! Dannielynn NEVER should have been in such horrible drug infested circumstances to begin with! Thanks to the video's we have all seen, obviously Anna didn't chose her friends very wisely! If the majority of the drugs Anna died from were in someone elses name, why hasn't there been some justice for Anna? How could Daniel die soon after his arrival in the Bahamas? Where is the heck and who in the heck gave him the drugs that killed him? He would NOT have sought out the assistance of a private investigator to help protect his mother and baby sister, had he also been a drug addict! I demand JUSTICE for TWO unnecessary Deaths! Larry, Danneilynn and Mrs. Arthur DESERVE ANSWERS! NOONE but Dannielynn's biological family SHOULD have been with her since the minute Anna was found DEAD!
