Mel's Costa Redemption

The controversial director is in Costa Rica this week, scouting locations for an upcoming project about Spanish explorer Vasco Núñez de Balboa. Sounds like a scorcher!

4. I think his "mistake" as you put it is much, much different from the mistake Imus made. Both were wrong though.

8. TMZ surprises me -- usually a good source of information for celebrity news, but horrible as a geographic reference!!! VERY IMPORTANT: Costa Rica is a CENTRAL AMERICAN country, and NOT in South America!! Please correct this headline and caption for Mel Gibson's picture, so the ignorance does not spread to your many readers.

10. I agree, leave him alone. This is soo tired and soooo played out. I'm so sure that the jews have NEVER said anything about people who don't follow their religion. People shouldn't judge in the first place, that's GOD's job. Whatever Mel Gibson or any of us has done, is for GOD to deal with. Let it go!!

12. Well.....actually it's NORTH AMERICA. Central America is an isthmus REGION on the lower portion of the continent of North America. Once again, I have proven myself correct in the belief that I am the only person on the planet that has a clue. It's lonely in my world.

14. TMZ: ............IT"S SOOO TRANSPARENT!!! .....YOU ABSOLUTELY RELISH THE OUTCRY & REACTION YOU RECEIVE DUE TO YOUR CONTINUAL BIAS & RIDICULOUS HATRED OF MEL GIBSON.... LEAVE THE GUY ALONE ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

15. I agree with Slap Daddy.

Mel Gibson and Imus both made a mistake. There is a big differen though. Imus made his mistake poking fun at people he shouldn't have. It was not done in a rage like Gibson. Gibson's remarks were intended to hurt and Imus's were simply done out of stupidity. Imus made a personal apology to the women involved and to my knowledge Gibson never did seek forgiveness from the cops he offended. He's a bully and an arrogant bastard. Only goes to prove, if you offend a Jew it's o.k. but you dare not offend a black person. I have respect for both Jews and blacks and neither should have to put up with these kind of people. I hope his picture and his career tanks.
