Been giving some thought to the existence of God.
First, I have to ask do I exist? I do. Then what is my begining?
It is my understanding that some aetheist believe that there was no beginning.
In the Humanist Manifesto, it says; "Matter is sef-existing and not created."
In the Bible, it says; God created the Heaven and earth. Gen. 1:1
I believe it is just as probable that we were created, as to think we were not.
Steve menioned in an earlier post that most Christians are Christians because
they were brought up that way by there parents.
However, I met several aetheists over my lifetime, and they tell me the same thing
about themselves. Some tell me that the reason they are aetheist, is because their
parents were aetheists.
I know what you mean. And isn't it just as interesting that just as some Christians when they get older, leave the Christian faith and become aetheists, and some aetheists
leave there prior trainng, and become Christians.
