Celebrity Justice
Paris in Peril

Paris HiltonParis Hilton is "teetering on the brink."

Law enforcement sources have told TMZ that Hilton has been crying a lot, praying and extremely withdrawn.

Hilton is in the medical ward at Twin Towers, an L.A. County jail facility. She is in a room by herself with a glass door. For her protection, a sergeant guards the door at all times.

We're told Hilton hasn't eaten or slept since she arrived yesterday.

Sources have described her condition today as "fragile" and "despondent." One source called her "a train wreck" while another said she is "sullen and withdrawn."

We've learned her shrink, Dr. Charles Sophy, spent more than two hours with her this morning. Hilton's family can't visit today. In the medical ward, families can only visit on Sundays and Tuesdays.

We're told Hilton is receiving "appropriate medical attention." We're told she's being given psychotropic medication.

91. Oh give me a damm break!!! What a big spoiled baby! NO ONE wants or likes jail PERIOD! My friend had to do time for violating a DUI probation, did anyone care, no, she did the time and that was that. This spoiled brat has never heard the word no or been punished, so that's what this is about. If anyone should be blamed for her "breakdown, " it's her parents!

93. SHERIF BACA RECEIVES DONATION FROM PARIS HILTON'S GRANDFATHER.

http://www.wwtdd.com

PARIS HILTON WAS GIVEN 23 DAYS FROM THIS JUDGE.

SHE FAKED HER WAY OUT, WITH THE HELP OF HER PSYCHIATRIST,

WHO HAPPENS TO BE MICHEAL JACKSON'S DOCTOR,

AND HER LAWYER.

I F PARIS HILTON HAD STAYED IN JAIL, THE 1ST TIME AROUND, SHE WOULD HAVE BEEN OUT SOONER.

PARIS HILTON CLEARLY N KNOWINGLY

MANIPULATED THE AMERICAN JUDICIAL SYSTEM FOR HER OWN 'TICKET OUT OF JAIL'.

HER DUI AND DRIVING WITHOUT SUSPENDED LICENSES ARE VERY SERIOUS OFFENCES.

IF PARIS HILTON IS ON COCAINE, SHE SHOULD HAVE INFORMED THE SHERIF, AS THEY DO ASK THE PRISONER WHAT MEDS SHE IS ON.

IN ADDITION, AVERAGE WORKING AMERICANS WOULD LOZE THEIR JOBS, AND EVERYTHING ELSE,

PARIS HILTON APPEARS TO BE A VERY SPOILT HUMAN BEING.

IT'S SICK ! THIS MAN IS SICK !

AN INVESTIGATION IS NEEDED TO SEE WHY THESE TWO CLEARLY WANTED TO SEE HER SUFFER

96. Paris Hilton won't suicide in jail. She loves herself too much. Crying all the time and refusing to eat are the only ways she has to gain public attention from her cell. And worse of all, this strategy works well because the media reports her "severe mental health problems". Paris will certainly want to be invited on Oprah as soon as she gets out of jail to talk about her recent experience and gain more attention and money from it.

97. As for no one being angry about ugly Michelle Rodriguez being released early--WRONG. That infuriated me. But then, think about it. She and uglier Cynthia Watros basically destoyed their own careers. Both were going to the top fast and now are nearly unemployed.

99. Wow when do we get to tell the world about our children who have been killed by people like her who continue to violate the no drinking and driving laws? Hey Mr. & Mrs. Hilton, with all your money why not hire her a chauffeur instead of allowing her to endanger people as well as herself. If you are caring parents wake up and smell the high price coffee in the world. Stop allowing her to continually break the laws and then attempt to make the world feel sorry for her. I have buried both of my boys. Yes both killed by other drinking and driving. So please do not expect mercy from me and the many like me who have lost their child/children to immature, uncaring, insensitive, and just plain spoiled brat that she is. If you are expecting the world to feel sorry for her or you, please hold your breath maybe that would allow oxygen to your brains for a change. I am applaud by her behavior but even worse by your not making her follow laws and rules the rest of the world is required to follow.

101. Maybe they'll give her some morality pills and a shot of humbleness while they're administering all of the 'supposed' psycho drugs to her...

(Sorry, Harvey...We all KNOW you have an affinity for... "what's her name, again?")

102. Now wait just a minute. Weren't we told yesterday that the jail had excellent doctors and inmates were lucky to have them and that the hosital was excellent and that nobody got theri own doctor to come in rather than the jail docs? Now, if Paris's own personal doctor coming in there, isn't she getting something that the other inmates don't have? Hence special treatment? Paris's inability to suck up here punishment is the problem and her attorney's continual filing of papers. Now, Monday, they will file other papers that means she'll get out on bail untill the issue is resolved and if it doesn't go her way, she's back to jail. Now, who's causing all this ruckus????? Me thinks Ms. Paris doth protest too much.

103. One of the best comments I've seen posted on this site is listed below. It needs to be read again by those that may have missed it the first time. We don't hate Paris Hilton, nor are we jealous of her fortune. We hate what she has become and what image she projects to the world. SHAME on her parents for ill equipping her for the realities of the REAL World for she is truely a lost soul.

To me, Paris is like a social experiment.......

Let's take a young girl, insulate her from reality, give her unlimited resources and never make her accountable for anything...ever! We will expose her to night life starting in her early teens (with parental approval, wait, participation). We will instill in her an overinflated sense of privilege and importance. We won't bother educating her because education is not "hot". We will tell her she is beautiful and stylish and that everyone who doesn't like her or want to be like her is a "hater" or consumed with jealousy. Let's throw in some color contacts, hair extensions and a lifelong case of herpes for good measure. Then we get the media buy into the hype. They create a new category of celebrity, famous for going to nightclubs, petty but mean-spirited feuds with one another and sex tapes. We won't bother to give her class, taste, morals, talent, a conscience, values or any redeeming qualities.

What comes out the other end is Paris Hilton. The problem now is that she is not that little girl anymore. She is a fully grown woman completely unequipped for reality. Even her so-called reality tv show is fake. She hates blacks and jews because she is uneducated and isolated. She hates herself because whoever the real Paris was way back when is long dead and she is left with the carcass and no clue what to do with it. People like Paris Hilton aren't born. They are made. Now it's up to us, who are partially responsible for making her, to completely reject her and those who strive to be like her. Let's put all of the rich, spoiled, raised by nannies, talentless, brainless "socialites" on notice....read a book, do something meaningful with your wealth and status, contribute to our society in positive way or just go away. Let's use our collective power to render the Paris Hilton's of the world obsolete.

104. You have GOT to be kidding me...

Dear Paris: you are being judged by your actions. Any normal person would do their time and use this circumstance to review their life & how they can make it better. You, on the other hand, apparently are going into hysterics, throwing a hissy fit and showing the world what a mental weakling you are. No one is swayed by your hystrionics; you're just making things worse. Stop being a pathetic excuse for a human being, suck it up & do your time like an adult, you LOSER!

105. California has such draconian measures concerning DUI (I should say- REPEATED DUI's-- because it's residents so blatently flout the law! On any given night there are HUNDREDS of drivers out on the freeways, especially in and around L.A., who are driving drunk and putting at risk all the other SOBER drivers on the roads with them. Most accidents at night are at least partially, if not totally a result of drunk driving. Thousands of deaths a year are attributed to drunk drivers--and many of them are the VICTIMS of these drivers, not drunk themselves. My own mother was a repeat drunk driver, but unfortunately, this was before the mandatory sentence laws were in effect, and she was repeatedly allowed back on the road. Now she is dead, killed by her own drunk driving in an accident! I wish those laws had been in effect back then. She might have been sentenced to a rehab program, or at least been put in jail--and still be alive today. Paris should thank her lucky stars that she is still alive to moan and cry and complain about her harsh treatment. Next time, she may very well injure herself, or kill herself or another innocent victim--then be on trial for vehicular manslaughter and facing YEARS in prison instead of a paltry 40-odd days in county jail.
She should quit crying, suck it up, do her time, then get some help with her alcohol problem. What makes her think she is somehow different or immune to the laws and rules the rest of us must live by? Why does she think she is somehow move "delicate" and thus should be excused from the same treatment the rest of us must accept? Daddy's little girl needs a reality check--and that's exactly what she's getting now.
