3. I hate Molly Ringwald, so I can't watch this movie. I hate her even more than I hate Meg Ryan. Go figure.

Do you even know what the brat pack is? Molly is absolutely a member. It's not just the cast of St. Elmo's fire. It was the cast of popular movies put out in the 80's which most definitely included John Hughes movies (Breakfast club was the biggest movie from the 80's. and included 5 of the Brat Pack) The same young actors were cast in all of these popular movies. It wasn't just one movie.

10. Thank you all for your negative opinions on Sixteen Candles, Molly Ringwald, the Brat Pack and so on. OK, really, do you all have nothing better to do then track down web pages and slam what soooooooooooooooooooooo many people hold dear to their hearts? How would you feel if we starting tracking down the sites that have things that you love? Don’t worry, we, who appreciate Sixteen Candles for what it is, have better things to do then post negative, hurtful things about, oh I don’t know, maybe your website on how you are listed as one of the top 10 Jerry Springer guest, or maybe even a site entitled “How to marry your first cousin, legally with only a 5th grade education”. And if you are asking yourself if I have better things to do, you are right, but sometimes I need a break, during the day, from my fulfilling, six-figure career. How about you? Have a nice day!
