That's probably because, they pulled the altered cover knowing that it had been leaked and everyone would know what a fraud they/Faith Hill are!

therefore, they couldn't run it, and replaced it with something that was "much less" airbrushed.

If you look its two completely different pictures, in the original she has her hand on her thigh, the edited one she doesn't...so while there is a good deal of editting done to here face, this isn't a very good set of pics to compare, if she is turned differently that can make her look skinnier

84. Faith is beautiful before the retouching. I really don't understand why the big fuss over this anyway. I'm sure magazines do this daily to all celebrities, even the twenty somethings. I doubt anyone is picture perfect. Faith, you are beautiful just the way you are and are blessed with a amazing voice.

85. Faith Hill must have okayed that cover photo. Most celebrities reserve the right to select and improve what shot is used. Faith had to want this Fake Hill look!! She is 40 and is worried about Carrie Underwood who beat her out of many, many awards and contests on tv, radio, and magazines. At 40, Fake Hill is being overshadowed by Miranda Lambert who writes her own songs (Faith over the Hill doesnt write anything), Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland, Kellie Pickler, and the other very young and talented singers. Faith Over the Hill is now riding on her husbands coattails. She is a Fake, she pretends to only have been married to Tim McGraw but still uses her FIRST HUSBANDS NAME, she was married to Dan Hill for 6 years, dumped him, and always moved up the ladder. She was engaged to Scott Hendricks, mega Nasville exec, and dumped him to marry McGraw. Rumor has it she found time for Alan Jackson even tho he was Married with Children. She "dated" her way to the top and threw a fit when Carrie Underwood sang her way to the top. Faith over the Hill went to her real mothers funeral surrounded by bodyguards and never mentioned the death on her website. Instead she asked her fans to buy her new CD. Faith at 40 is washed up but didnt want Redbook to prove it. Fake Fake Fake over the Hill.

86. It is tough to criticize w/o sounding bratty or jealous. I am a huge country fan and have friends and family living in Nashville. I hear firsthand how diva Faith really is. It is tough to swallow her June Cleaver image that Tim tries to sell when she has a nanny tending to her 3 kids and she appears on magazines that push skinny pills. Not the morale of a Mississippi girl, huh? A southern belle doesn't get married almost 3 times and keep her first husband's last name. A christian girl doesn't cheat on her fiance while on tour with Time McGraw....Jimmy Hendricks got her on that tour, then she cheated on him. How classy and professional....Then the tantrum at the music awards. Her actions have proved over the years that she is liar and cheater, but she is a sweet southern belle....? Again, I am happy for her and like a lot of her music. But someone should ask her a really tough question in one of her interviews instead of gushing how happy she is and how madly in love she is. I heard she approves the questions and will not appear unless they agree to her criteria and approval. She is just a brat that lied to get a secretary job at the label and that slept her way to the top, literally. Carrie Underwood is a genuine country girl that stood before America in a very vulnerable show/contest. Her record sales are impressive, and that is how Carrie continues to prove herself. Sooooo, photoshop or not, Faith is not a very becoming person by her actions alone. Personally, she should look much better for all the time and help she gets with her physical image. Tim, please cut back on the botox b/c your face didn't move in the movie Flicka. I hate to get sucked into the criticisms, but this is ridiculous that we continue to allow Faith to sell an image and use us to make a fortune. She is totally a product, not an artist. That is fine, but please stop the gushing about this woman that sells us records of how to be humble when she is very VAIN.

You took a perfectly lovely woman, and cut off pieces of her body (e.g., her re-touched stick-arms, her missing upper back), making her look like every sickly anorexic / bulemic celebubot out there today. You are perpetuating the myth that there is a single ideal size and body type in order for a woman to be attractive. I thought you were about more than that.

89. I have nothing against Faith Mcgraw. But I do find it funny that Shania Twain who is the biggest selling country female of alltime and country musics biggest global megastar on a worldwide scale keeps such a private life in Switzerland and raises her family in private./
Shania can go on hiatus for 3 years and come back and still out sell Faith Hill by 3 times.
Big stars like Shania don't need to be media whores and crave attention.Faith Hill seems insecure and has to be out there to be remembered. she is insecure about younger singers coming up. Whe the facts are that Faith hill was always in the shadow of an icon like Shania who did things her way and changed the face of country music on her own terms.
You never see Shania out at parties or in public trying to get noticed. She lives in Switzeland where she raises her family in private and doesn't parade them out for the media.
Shania is the biggest country female of alltime with class and dignity and talent and is very down to earth and never brags.
Shania is secure in her place in music history as one of the biggest and most successful artists of alltime who set trends worldwide. While faith Hill does't have an identity and tried to copy Shania and copy every latest trend.
Thank God Shania is coming back in 2008 with a new album and new world tour to bring class back and dignity back to the enterainment world.
