TMZ has learned Lindsay Lohan has returned to rehab, but not to Promises in Malibu -- where she recently spent 45 days.
We're told she is in an undisclosed treatment facility.
Let's hope it works this time.
UPDATE: A rep for Promises has no comment about today's events.
1. I can't wait for the day when all these celebutants and young actresses are gone and we have a new crop, who are hopefully a little bit more responisble. Of course, TMZ and Harvey Levin would be out of business instead of giving us minute-by-minute, blow-by-blow updates.

14. Has any one else noticed that this Promises place is a joke. No one we have heard about going there has gotten any better. I think its more like a spa than a rehab. Maybe if she goes to jail like Paris she will have a fighting chance.

15. Gee, and will the court let her get away with avoiding her court dates for another phoney rehab experience? Will she again wear a fake anklet? Just out of curiosity...how many rehabs in one year does this make for her.
One more question...by NOT sendiner her back to "Promises" are they admitting that that place is not a real rehab center and is basically a way to pretend to the courts that you are trying to get help when in reality it's just an expensive hotel that lets you come and go as you please?
