The testimony has begun in the Lane Garrison sentencing hearing.
You'll recall a 17-year-old student died in the car driven by an intoxicated Garrison, when the actor hit a tree in B.H.
A high school counselor is on the stand right now, testifying about how his students couldn't handle the grief. He said "I felt hopeless. I know they needed an opportunity to say goodbye. "
He went on "They were depressed, weren't eating, wouldn't leave the tree [that the car hit]".

(Page 1 of 1)Isn't it bad enough that this happened? Do you really need to fall apart and refuse to leave the tree? Very dramatic and over the top.
so tragic and i agree lane should be punished but the worst punishment of all is the guilt he has. some people do these things and dont care, at least he did that psa on drinking and driving and everytime you see him he is crying about it. not leaving the tree is a bit dramatic, i had a friend who killed himself becuase he was drinking, and drove into a tree, although my friends and i were devasted we didnt torture ourselves by sitting by the tree all day. just a very sad case all around
Where were the parents when these kids were riding around with a drugged up TV star, attending parties with a drugged up TV star and shopping for booze with a drugged up TV star. If these parents are not charged with neglect, there is something WRONG with the system!!
