Have the three bike-eteers, Matt, Lance and Jake, recruited Tobey Maguire as their newest, er, member?! Tour de pants?!

Although the 32-year-old webslinger was spotted without his "Spider-Man" uniform, Maguire was still stuffed into a skintight Lycra-licious ensemble in Brentwood on Sunday. The boy likes his tights!

While there was no sighting of the three amigos, Tobey seems like a prime candidate to join The Brotherhood of the Travelling Spandex!

Somebody please explain to me why this guy:

a) is a star
b) is considered sexy
c) is worthy of any story on TMZ because he's so boring.

Same boring look. His talent is specious and his performances are unremarkable. And he looks ridiculous in those girdle spandex biker shorts. Even the pros look stupid in them. What's McQuire trying to do, shave precious seconds off his course time?
