Willis and Weintraub Get the Boot in Italy

Ah, Italia. For Bruce Willis and Jerry Weintraub, the ospitalità in one Sardinian restaurant was merda!
Bruce Willis and Jerry Weintraub
"EXTRA" reports Bruce Willis and his buddy, "Ocean's 13" uber-producer Jerry Weintraub, were thrown out of the famous Cipriani in Sardinia for supposedly declining to take a picture with millionare baby daddy (with Heidi Klum) Flavio Briatore's model fiancee Elisabetta Gregoraci. The nerve!

When Gregoraci complained -- Briatore is part owner of the restaurant -- a bouncer was sent over. Willis and Weintraub tried to work it out, but to no avail. They were asked to leave, pronto! Weintraub told "EXTRA," "Stay away from the restaurant Cipriani in The Billionaire [nightclub] in Sardinia, if you don't want to be humiliated."

Schioccare le dita!

16. Oh but this mess can be easily explained: this so-called model (she's not, she used to be a non-speaking tv girl moving her bum in hotpants) can barely speak italian, just figure out if she can approach an american guy and make him understand she wants a picture taken with her...and maybe Bruce was just unhappy to get pictured with such a loser. She's totally brainless and mannerless, as she's the boss girl she acts like a stupid queen...easy to guess which path she took to reach the tv world. She's been involved in a huge scandal here in Italy called "Vallettopoli": sex in exchange of tv leading roles...do I have to say more?!

17. Bruce is just pissed because he has 3 very unattractive below average looking daughters.

18. Good for them. Celebrities should realize if it weren't for the fans they wouldn't be able to sit in that fancy restaurant, eating that fancy food and wearing the $1000 shirt. If a fan asks for a quick picture, what is the big deal? It couldn't have been a vanity issue since (1) Bruce has no hair and (2) he's old as heck...When I hear of celebrities brushing off the fans, it immediately turns me off to them.

20. Hi Lads & Gents,
Briatore the Billionaire owner is a italian bossman, opsss, businessman.
Sardinia and sardinian people are a different subject and above all .. we are a italian colony invaded by italian dirty business.
trying to recover cultural (and more) independence.
So please, do not mix italy (briatore) with Sardinia.

You are always welcome.
Thank you all. :)

22. The comments in Italian are most endearing cuz they have so many grammatical and spelling mistakes in the Italian language.....that by comparison the English of a valet Parker sounds and reads like a Mark Twain novel read by Orson Wells!
Maybe the writer is a bouncer from NJ who asked his grandmother for help with the language?
As to this episode it appears (per the official Italian News Agency....boy is the country quiet this time of year if they cover this stuff!) that "Signor Willis" was asked to leave the premises when he tried to sneak into a vip area and approach the wife of a Lebanese tycoon with a "ciao bella"...which works with Nebraska tourists in the streets of Rome, but less in Sardinia.
And yes....who cares? This (Briatore) is the guy who is putting his money in the racing team of the automaker that used to manufacture the "LeCar" vehicle!!!

24. #14

Briatore, Weintraub and Willis are all millionaires. Why would the latter care that Briatore's assets are around $150 million - he is far from being a billonaire.

25. I was there and saw it all.

Both Willis, Weintraub and the russian boxer were pretty in their cups and had begun to make quite a ruckus because they wanted to get in the VIP area which was reserved for a private function. I guess in their minds those throwing the party ought to be honored to have them. When they were denied admittance, became so noisy and quarrelsome that security kicked them out.

After all, Costa Smeralda in August has more billionaires and celebrities per square foot than any other place in the world--but all are expected to behave properly because no matter how rich you may be, you're annoying someone richer.

The incident only proves there are no exceptions to the rule. Much more so when you're a parvenu instead of an habitue'

26. Billionaire is NOT a Sardinian Restaurant, as your Title report.
M-E-R-D-A, for sure, is referred to the (italian) enclave Millioner alone.

Sardinia is Not italy.
Tnx

27. G Skinner I hate to tell you this but willis wouldn't burn all his money to have Flavio money, in fact Flavio Briatore is not even a billionaire read this: http://www.forbes.com/free_forbes/2007/0326/122.html
and if bruce willis wants to have a moment of peace and doesn't want to take a picture while his eating well that's his choice, it's wrong that one of the owners does a stupid thing like that. additionally it's also a shame that bruce willis is a bad tipper.
