Britney's Custody Defense Exhibit A: Us!

The attorneys for Britney Spears and Kevin Federline want to keep the custody proceedings between them private -- to avoid the kind of scene that took place outside court today.

Today's hearing was a bunch of nothing -- Britney and Fed-Ex weren't even there. So imagine the surprise of disso-queen Laura Wasser, who challenged a cacophony of photogs who stalked her down the street. "Britney and Kevin join in trying to keep the documents regarding their children private," Wasser opined. "And if you look around, you guys will understand why that is." Oh snap, she means us!

When one photog pressed Wasser about what might be in the custody documents, Wasser shot back, "There are things in there that aren't anybody else's business except for the families." But hey -- Britney's hoo-hoo isn't anyone else's business and we see that all the time!

3. Speaking of weird people, Amy Sedaris and David Sedaris are joining the the Poetry Foundation and Starbucks for a national poetry jam with major cash prizes. Bless Stephen Young and John Barr -- and especially Ruth Lilly! I love Poetry Magazine and always have and will.

6. This is sickening - Brit will not have to give the kids to their dad. Going out at night and giving your kid soda is not a crime. Fed-ex should go sit his lanky tail down and be a father in lieu of a tabloid feeding whore. Oh, TMZ photogs - if you weren't knee deep up Brit's arse we'd never see her HooHoo.....and then you print it....and claim she's out of control. I really resent the fact that I'm having to stick up for this poptart. Get off her nuts.

7. Um, no, actually Britney and Kevin don't "join" to keep the custody issues private. Only Insane Mother of the Year wants to keep them private. But that was a nice try at spinning, Laura Wasser. If I were called upon to represent Britney, I'd be trying to find a spin wherever I could, too!

Can't IMAGINE why the media went in to make sure the record's not sealed. LOLOL

11. #10: Every person who defines Britney's absolutely insane, chronic, worse-by-the-day behavior as "going out at night and giving your kids soda" is the burger, the fries and the toy short of the Happy Meal as well.

Get some help, friend. You need it.

12.
Divorce and child custody is serious business of a private nature until the court rules, questions and rules are established, so ..unless you are called as a witness you have no business being involved and interrupting.. so BACK OFF!.

13. i wonder why they are even in court in most states a custody agreement is good for 2 years minimum , unless something new arises, i see nothing new everything that s being done was done when he was married to her and she was also doing it when he signed the papers, who cares if she goes out , some parents work at nite and never see their kids all week do we take them away no, she has money she can afford to do these kind of things , she spends more time with her children then most parents in america, if spending time away from your kids is a crime then someone better start building foster home s now the emergency is his cash is gonna run out ,she s not perfect but i have worse living next to me and no one does a thing for these kids

14. maybe the people chasing her around to get a picture should be thrown in jail , their putting these kids in more danger then she is , give it up people

15. Kevin is using his unpopularity with the paps to gain custody of those kids. If the paps followed Kevin around, he would appear just as looney, if not more so than Brit. But because no one gives a flying hoot about what Kevin is doing, Brit is getting all the publicity.
