The Material Girl turns 49 today, beginning her countdown to the big 5-0 -- while "Hairspray" star Michelle Pfeiffer turned 49 back in April. Looking good, ladies -- looking real good.

If only they had real jobs and real responsibilities then maybe they would show their real age better, sure they look great because they have avoided the trappings of aging while benefitng from the glory of fame...however too many people give these "stars" credit...like Demi Moore...come on if "you" had every meal planned, a nanny for each child, and a state of the art home gym...well think about it.

there really is no competition here ! i'm 49 and i look 49 ! end of story ! look folks there is a word called "airbrush" for these photos and celebs swear by this, so more power to them ! but back to the no competition ! madonna has been needing to hang herself up in the closet like an old handbag for a very long......time.....sorry ..... lots of love ! ! darling
