Britney Off the Hook in Doggy Mishap

Britney SpearsThe Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals has resolved its investigation into Britney Spears' dog, and has decided the popwreck did nothing wrong ... well, at least when it comes to her dog.

The president of the Los Angeles chapter of the SPCA tells TMZ the dog did fracture his leg -- but does have a cast. The incident occurred when someone (no word on who) stepped on the dog's leg (arf!) while walking into a closet. Accidents happen, y'all!

The SPCA also tells us the incident had nothing to do with her kids, as some have reported, and that the case is now "resolved." Now about those kids ...

1. What right does the SPCA have to demand to investigate anything? Since when did they become a governmental agency? I would have told them to go pound dirt.

3. Britney's children are better taken care of than most of the children in the entire world. TMZ should concentrate the help the children campaign for children who are in true need of care and let the ugly divorce and child monetray $$$$ battle to the courts. Constant claims that some how these children are in dire need are a joke in the real world. In Papua Guinea AIDS victoms are being buried alive by faimly members who do not want to catch the deadly desease from their infected family memebers. The AIDS victoms are sreaming MOMMY MOMMY as being buried alive. FOX NEWS world report.

11. So does she pay as much attention when the kids are afoot?

So sad about the tragedies in Africa, but we don't control things happening in Africa. As least child protective services. And just because someone has money does not mean they are a fit parent any more than someone who does not have money is unfit.

I wish I could fly to Africa right now though and save those kids!

12. What happened to the White / Cream Chihuahua that she had? A lot of this crap going around is due to money. Jackson still has his kids. And there are many people that are in our own cities that go free because they are not in the puclic's eye.

15. It becomes increasingly clear that Britney is too sick to be responsible for anyone else until such time as she gets herself under control. I would not say that she should not EVER have custody of her children--she did, after all, bear them, and probably loves them as much as it is possible for her, but not at present. I feel sorry for her, in a way, because she was in a situation of celebrity and power that led her down the wrong path.
Too much money and too much celebrity seem to attract disaster--especially for the very young.
