You shouldn't be so shocked that Linda Hogan said that in this public statement.

If the injured passenger in the car -- and/or his family -- chooses to sue there wouldn't be much incentive to do so when the person you'd be trying to get money out of is a 17 yr-old kid that doesn't have a job/source of employment. However, if the car Nick was was driving was owned by his very rick father Terry Bollea (Hulk Hogan) there could be a very large financial opporunity awaiting the vicitm and his family, providing incentive for them to file a lawsuit.

I'm sure this kids family already has a bunch of slimey lawyers all other them telling them to sue. It really is a sick sue-happy society we live in.

May they heal from the injuries and be well.

65. come on this kid is odd, thanks to mom and dad. daddy had him looking at skimpy pics of sister? and buying them all up, but dad also telling him to go get some. watching their tv show is a real stereo typing hell. 4 tickets in less then a year, those were only the times he was caught.

69. Nick has been stopped for speeding MANY more times than is on his record. His name and his daddy have gotten him out of many of those stops. No ticket was issued.

Nick is going to end up dead or in jail within the next few years and EVERYONE who lives in Clearwater knows it. Daddy lets him do whatever he wants. Nick needs a solid beatdown.

72. I don't understand that as a teenager, with a driving record like Nick's, why he is still in possession of a valid driver's license. The state in which I live in, you are caught speeding going over 100 MPH, you automatically lose your license, no questions asked.

Young Nick has been "popped" several times for speeding, all within a very short time frame, answer me Florida Department of Public Safety, why hasn't Nick Bollea (Hogan) had his driver's license yanked??

As I said in another thread, Nick is very fortunate his actions didn't kill someone....he hurt his friend, and hopefully that friend will survive, but I think its time that State of Florida protected its citizens from young Mr. Bollea (Hogan) and TAKE AWAY his driver's license for an extended period. If Hulk was any kind of a man, he'd as Nick's father should've yanked Nick's license himself after the 110MPH incident.

Do it before Nick does end up killing someone...because in situations like this these reckless jacka**es always end up killing an innocent person instead of themselves with their reckless, irresponsible behaviour.

Time to reign young Nick in....time to lose your license and park the cars for awhile...let's hope your parents realize this and won't coddle you.

74. If the Hogans do not get a grip on Nick. They will surely lose everything that they have. Or attend a Funeral or Prison. There are some things that money can not buy. Their kid is Out of Control.I hope that their show is over. Because there will be much protest after this accident.........

75. Nick Hogan's car accident comes as no surprise! Watch the "Hogan Knows Best" show and it is very clear who wears the pants in the family. The show depicts Nick taking a car for a joy ride at 15 years of age with no consequences, being given the opportunity to learn the art of drifting, which he couldn't do and he is allowed to assume the role of a parent over his older sister. Linda and Terry need to control this teenager who thinks he is Gods Gift to Women and a speed demon. I totally agree with the other comment referring to the Florida DOT and the fact that this menace's license has not been revoked. How does a 17 year old have 4 speeding tickets and continue to be in the drivers seat with the potential of killing others?! If he wants to race cars and kill people, he needs to be on a track and only causing injury to himself, not those of us who are trying to obey the laws. Blame the kid because he is old enough to know better, but blame the parents for not teaching this kid responsibility, money management and that actions have consequences! As far as Linda saying he bought the car with his own money....where does the kid work? The only time I saw either child lifting a finger as a lowly worker bee was when they were made to work in a restaurant for what seemed like all of 1/2 hour. The last time I checked, minimum wage wouldn't buy a Viper. I pray for the speedy recovery of Nick's passenger and for his family. Hopefully, like Paris Hilton, the Hogan's find themselves on the other side of the law!
