Tiger Hunted in Manhattan

A wild autograph seeker was on the hunt for Tiger Woods last night in NYC.

TMZ was outside of Butter, where Tiger and his super-hot wife made a police-escorted dash to their SUV. The ink seeker yelled, "Tiger, you can't sign? Help out the brother man," as Woods ran right past him.

The autograph hound then followed the SUV about 40 blocks to Trump World Tower and again started screaming for Tiger to sign. Tiger finally ditched him.

2. My my my...has someone's head just gotten a little too big?? You can't take 2 seconds out of your busy day to sign a piece of paper for a fan who has probably taken many seconds out of his day to appreciate you. "Celbrities" like this make me sick. It wasn't a hoard of fans and the guy never got violent or in his face. If Tiger had just signed the piece of paper to begin with, the man would have walked away and Tiger would have made someone happy. What a jerk!!!

4. The guy is a nutcase stalking him at dinner and residence for an autograph. I'm sure that he was looking out for the best interest of him and his wife. Lowlife was gonna go sell the autograph for a couple of 40's anyway. Kate, maybe your jealous that no one is stalking you. haha

6. Good for you Tiger. Photog's don't write the rules, if they don't want to sign - STEP OFF.

7. Ummm Kate....... That guy is clearly a stalker! Who in their right mind would follow a celebrity for just an autograph? Psycho!

8. Does anyone ever stop to think, maybe this guy is dangerous? How does Tiger or any of these people know if he has a gun or not? Look at John Lennon.

9. Tiger is a living legend. He will be remebered long after all of these "celebrities" are
turned to dust...good for him for blowing off this annoying hack.

10. I know this man and he is a class act! I don't blame him for protecting himself and his wife from some street low-life. Tigers endorsers may not allow for this . . . .

11. This may have all this gone to Tiger's head..but its true..that guy just wants to make money off of his autograph. I don't blame Tiger for avoiding him. I'm not saying I'm a FAN, i'm just telling it like it is.

13. Wow, the worst thing they could drug up about Tiger was this, compared to other ATHLETES this is a breath of fresh air. That man would have walked away and went straight to ebay, THAT GUY IS ONE OF THOSE PRO AUTO HOUNDS that sells them on Ebay.

It's not Tiger's place to make him any money just because he's a "brtha" and I SERIOUSLY DOUBT THAT GUY IS OUT BUYING NIKE GOLF BALLS, TITLEIST GOLF CLUBS, OR THAT HE DRIVES A BUICK thus patronizing where Tiger's money comes from.

14. Woods has not signed anything since he first started. One of my friends was telling me that they were having this fundraiser to help kids and all of the golf stars were signing a golf ball for the auction, except for Tiger. Finally there was one person a kid that had an autograph ball signed by tiger and he donated it to the auction. I guess Chevy Chase won the auction and Chevy gave the ball back to the kid.

15. I'm not saying this guy isn't a stalker and I'm not saying he is. I think Tiger should have signed the autograph for him, what would it have hurt?? It would have only taken two seconds! Where would all these celebrities be without their fans?? And whose to say this guy was some bum off the street? Obviously he isn't or he wouldn't have had the means to follow him! It's so sad that people automatically assume that fans only want autographs so they can turn around and sell them. Has anyone seen how little money you get for autographs on ebay?? MAYBE $10 at the most!
