Britney's manager has jumped ship, and the reason sounds strangely similar to her former lawyer's woes over Spears.
Manager Jeff Kwatinetz issued a statement saying, "It saddens us to confirm media reports that we have terminated our professional relationship with Britney Spears." Noting Kwatinetz repped Brit for a grand total of one month, he continued, "We believe Britney is enormously talented, and has made a terrific record, but current circumstances have prevented us from properly doing our job."
So what are the "circumstances?" Maybe they're similar to what we hear about Laura Wasser going South on Spears. We're told Wasser questioned Brit's judgment but simply could not control her.
Sources close to the situation tell us Kwatinetz had similar problems, notably at the VMAs, when Britney decided to switch the costume she planned to wear for the glitterated swamp bikini, without telling anyone. Ding dang, y'all.
We're told after the VMAs, the firm demanded to meet with her but she refused. They felt she needed help, but she wouldn't hear it.

WHO CARES anymore??? I am so overloaded on Britney news. Seriously, she's a mess. We know she's a mess...this daily update on her is ridiculous. She is one person in the entire celebrity world. She's done the beaver shot repeatedly, she's gone on benders, she's been a lousy Mom...there is nothing new to report. It's so old!
This is why Britney will never make it. She thinks she knows everything, and takes no advice from anyone, and she's too lazy to work so she can fulfill her dreams of a successful come-back. Why wouldn't she have worn the corset costume, that would have been so much more flattering, but NO, Britney the exhibitionist had to go as naked as she could. And instead of rehearsing, she was out partying. She needs so much therapy, she won't admit it or get it, and she is just going to go further and further downhill. She knows it all, when in fact, the only reason she WAS a star was because of all the people who created her and kept her going strong. she is all alone now, her choice, and as we can see, she doesn't have what it takes to make a go of it alone. Bye-bye, Britney. Letting down your fans like that was criminal.
