Adrianne Curry:

Another Fine Mess

9/24/2007 3:50 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Usually, when Adrianne Curry blogs, it just makes her look like a crazy woman. Maybe it's just showing her in true form, but her latest dispatch makes her look a little like Strom Thurmond with fake boobs. America's Next Top Race-Baiter!

The first "America's Next Top Model" initially wrote on her MySpace blog that she's boycotting Black History Month and the BET network, and that while the history of slavery of African-Americans "does suck some major balls," she's imploring them to "move the f**k on."

Now, after some serious backlash, the empty-headed model takes another stab at blogging in order to clarify her ridiculous rant, explaining that she feels "horrible that people misunderstood" her message. Perhaps this girl should think before she blogs!

The annoying Adrianne writes, "I am appalled that anyone would claim I am just some stupid white b**ch that doesn't know s**t about anything." How could anyone think such a thing?! Unfortunately, there's more! She says that she comes from an "incredibly political family." Sure. All this worldly philosophy coming from someone who dropped out of high school in her junior year. Stay in school kids!

Since everyone it so worked up over one persons comment........why is no one asking when White History Month is? We celebrate every other race so why do white people not get a "month" of celebration? Oh, let me guess, we have every other month right? We all need to grow up and understand that no one is responsible for what their ancestors did. I am sure there are a lot of things that everyone is embarassed or would like to change about their ancestors but let's face it, we can't do anything about it. It is time for all of this to stop and people to understand that there is nothing that can be done about it so move on. It's hard enough just to survive in this messed up world, much less have to carry what your ancestors did on your shoulders!

I find it funny that if she had stayed in school that she would know that after the war many blacks still owned black slaves, yes I said still. And that the true first slaves in our country was the native American people. I am tired of ignorant people from all colors bring up race. I mean shouldn't we see more jewish playing the mistreated car. No they over came and thrive. So maybe everyone else should too. Plenty African Americans are doing wonderful things, because they did not play the sympathy card and over came whateve rgot in their way. food for thought.

this is a prime example of why a "model" who hasnt worked in MONTHS should keep he rmouth shut esp since she has no college education ans speaks so ignorantly. she should know black history month is to celebrate the accomplishments of black people and i have no problems recognizing other peoples accomplishments. she should keep her mouth shut, and try getting some work bc i give her 3 more yrs with her loser controlling husband.

To all the people giving "??" crap for ackowledging the fact that white people did die to free slaves: "??" is right (sort of).

Has anyone heard of the Underground Railroad? It's ONLY purpose was to transport slaves to the North where they could be free. Anyone hear of that "radical" movement during the Civil War called the "abolutionists" guess what they were a part of? THE UNDERGROUND RAILROAD. What happened when abolutionists were caught? They were HANGED.

So yes, white people DID die to free slaves!

Now, while slavery was an issue in the Civil War, it was not a MAIN concern. Lincoln even admitted that if maintaining slavery would preserve the Union, he would do it.

It was kind of a stupid way to say it, but she does kind of have a point. Why does there need to be a black history month? There's no white history month, or asian history month. Maybe we should realize that we are all people despite of our race, and celebrate our history all the time.

you missed the entire point. what she is saying is that this is AMERICA & that we are all the same. she is saying that singling out one race is just as racist. if you are going to have 'black history' month, you need to have 'italian/chinese/greek/spanish/mexican/korean/etc history' month too. if you can have an all black college & not be racist, why can't you have an all white one? that's the point. it's ALL racism & segregation & it will not stop until AMERICANS stop separating themselves from one another. THAT is her point. she's saying you can't have "black entertainment television" if you can't have one of those for EVERY other race...& to have them at all is stupid. we are all AMERICANS. it is all AMERICAN history & separating yourselves only perpetuates the problem. read the entire blog before you claim to know what her stance is.
she may be just a model but she does make a point.

Are we REALLY arguing over something that ADRIENNE CURRY has to say? For pete's sake she married a Brady Bunch kid who is old enough to be her dad, and she rants and raves about the dumbest things. She's probably just depressed because she finally realized that Chris Knight is one hump away from needing viagara and she's too snooty and bratty to get any modeling jobs...not to mention she's uneducated and not pretty. Let's not waste anymore time thinking of her!

After seeing her and her husband on Dr. Phil the other day, she needs to worry about her marriage more than anything else.

how dumb

To #172 - You're dumb .. "ask the Jena 6 how they feel".

They probably feel pretty good cuz they got to BEAT THE CRAP OUT OF A WHITE GUY
and may not be punished for it!

Cuz they are black and that makes it OK!

Adrienne is a model (if one can still call her that, as she seems to have made a career of subjecting herself to public embarrassment on a slew of disastrous reality shows) and NOT a political pundit. Her words should be taken with a grain of salt.

What's more appalling are the assertions made by some individuals on this board. I read something SPARTAN 117 wrote and nearly fainted. To write that Caucasians are inherently better at some occupations because they possess less melanin in their skin is ridiculous.

The fact that there are more white models and actors has NOTHING to do with ability and everything to do with sheer business mathematics. If only 13-15% of the American population qualifies as "Black", then it's obvious that the white majority controls the buying and viewing power in America.

In layman's terms: The white population determines who and what will be seen on TV and magazines -- and in many cases, they do NOT want to see minorities splashed over their favorite media outlets. Of course, publishing companies and production outlets are aware of this and will not invest in media that won't sell. THAT is why you see more white models and actors. It's because the majority likes reading and watching itself.

Furthermore, some white Americans seem to protest Black History month because they don't like being reminded that blacks were mistreated in the past. While the month celebrates the triumphs of this group, it also commemorates the suffering that occurred at the hands of whites (yes -- slavery is old, but segregation and the civil rights movement wasn't that long ago people -- we're talking the 1950s and 60s).

Plain and simple, no matter who you are or what you do -- no group wants to embrace the negative parts of their heritage...or accept that their ancestors may have behaved unethically. But, if you really love your whiteness as much as you think you do, that means understanding the role your culture played (through the good and bad) in American history and accepting its effect on others.

Maybe when you accept that, people can "move the &^$@ on" as Adrienne asserts.

me

I'm always baffled by comments like, "where is white history month", or " what about WET".
If you were educated at all on why we have BET and Black History Month, you wouldn't even need to ask.
