You, Me and Paparazzi

Getting a cab is no easier for celebs than the rest of us -- and an unfortunate Kate Hudson had to wait a good while yesterday as paparazzi closed in.

TMZ caught Kate attempting to hail a cab in New York, with paparazzi filling the street as they snapped away. Onlookers started shouting at a few of the cameramen, saying, "You're tryin' to get killed just to get a picture!"

Kate wasn't entirely out of the way either though -- a giant truck had to honk at her to get her to move out of the way.

1. Every once in a while TMZ posts one of those videos that leaves you feeling like a vulture. Unbelievable... video of a girl catching a cab. I'm starting to shift my sympathy from the celeb (sorry Kate you're just too rich and skinny) to the so-called photog. They seem mentally ill sometimes, beyond pathetic.

2. Why do you always right these like all thos other peeps are annoying papparazzi when your own photog is there doing the same thing? Your guys are worse than all the others.

3. She was probably trying to get away from the freakazoid paparazzi. It's just a matter of time until another celebrity get killed trying to escape the paps, just like Princess Diana. Shame on you, TMZ, for pretending like your paps weren't there too (though we know they were, since you posted the video).

5. The real question is where wuz she going? My friend lives downtown told me there was a huge comotion later in front of her street when Kate's cab pulled up and she got out, and that she was met by some hot guy in a black suit and sunglasses and then they rushed into his building together! She said paparazzi were parked waiting on her street all day and night in front of his bulding but Kate never came out and they eventually went home! I hope it's a hot new romance-- i love Kate! She's so cute

10. I dunno.. Goldie always seems sweet, even in these situations. Kate seems arrogant. Kate made one substantial movie ("Almost famous") and the rest that followed are fluffy big budget flicks. She's ok, but not close to the icon her mother is. And she needs to stop trying to act like her mom and get her own schtick
