Kyra Sedgwick -- Three Dollar Baby

She has a Golden Globe, Emmy noms, a hit show, and a beautiful family, but Kyra Sedgwick evidently has some self-worth issues.


Strolling through the streets of Soho with a cell phone clamped to her ear, Kyra informed our cameraman that he'd only be able to fetch $2.50 or "maybe three dollars" for a shot of her.

Kyra looks like a million bucks just walking out the door -- ba-dum-bump! -- so that's obviously a gross underestimate. For the record, our guy got bupkis for the shot.

3. I just love Kyra Sedgwick, everything about her, not only is she a great actress but she's just a very likeable person, she seems so down to earth and has a great head on her shoulders. A lot of ego maniacal, paparazzi whoring, Hollywood types could learn from her.

5. I like her too. She's wonderful in The Closer. You don't have to be drop dead gorgeous to be appealing!

7. here is a woman who is content to act and look her age. not running to a plastic surgeon or the latest hot spots without her panties on. she has been married to the same man for 17 yrs. (i think)..never been to rehab or done a porno. kyra and kevin have raised their children out of the limelight and from what i gather have a pretty normal day to day life. they never are both away from their children for any long peroids of time...don't have a nanny (or even a manny!) she is extremely talented..her show the closer is one of the best on tv right now. i think kyra and kevin deserve a big round of applause! (oh...did i mention..she has NEVER
been to rehab!) just that fact alone in pretty damn refreshing in this day and age.

8. Love this lady. Happily married to the same man for years, beautiful family, incredible actress. Some of the Hollywood brats could learn a lot just watching how she conducts herself. "The Closer" is my favorite TV show, network or cable. Carry on, Kyra!

9. I love her. She has beauty, talent, a beautiful family and she's not one of these Hollywood bimbos with fake body parts and Botox leaking out of her ears. Other Hollywood starlets should take lessons from this classy lady.

10. I always liked Kyra Sedgwick as an actress....and always found her to be attractive.

As for the comments above bagging on her looks. I am guessing these come from inbreed fat little trailer troll people that would probably kill themselves if they had their picture here and read the ensuing comments.

11. Shes a great lady, very pretty and seems so down to earth and nice, Kevin Bacon as well, now if she went around town without underwear and did classless things, the photographer would have made a mint. Such a sad world we live in.

even years ago when she was on a soap opera-
think she was called Penny on it if any of you remember that

love that her & hubby Kevin Bacon manage to live a normal and tabloid- free existence
which means that she's right-

the regular gossip site viewers on tmz, perezhilton etc
won't have much interest in her comings and goings-not big news

and I think her and her family are OK with that

bless the normal folk

14. I see her on the C line on the subway here in NYC. Also, on the 86th St. crosstown bus. Once on the bus I saw a guy bugging her - he couldn't quite figure out who she was, but he knew he'd seen her somewhere - and she politely said she had to read to her daughter, who was sitting with her.

15. She's fantastic. She's a great actress, dedicated mother and wife. As for #1 and the ridiculous comments on her looks, She's stunning in person and one of the most pleasant people you could possibly meet. I ran into her having lunch with her son a few years back and it was a beautiful sight to see. So go look in a mirror and see if anyone would even pay $2.50 for your picture.
