Britney Spears will get one overnight visit with her kids per week -- at least for now.
L.A. County Court Commissioner Scott Gordon partially accepted her lawyer's plea to give Spears monitored overnight visitation. Spears, who was in court, was sworn in as the afternoon hearing began. She testified, but we don't know what she said.
Spears left the courtroom visibly upset. The overnight visits will be monitored. The parties have not reached an agreement on choosing a different monitor than the one who is already in place.
A court spokesman said today was the result of a compromise between the two sides -- Brit wanted more, K-Fed didn't want her to have any overnights.
K-Fed's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, said after the hearing that he met with Brit's lawyers during the lunch hour. The attorneys told the court that they all agreed to "slightly increase" Brit's visitation. In other words, K-Fed agreed to give Brit a break, and a chance.
Kaplan said protections were in place for the kids.

I dislike Mr Federline immensely there is just something about him .I still have yet to put my finger on it.I think it might have something to do with the lack of empathy he shows. One when he left Shar Jackson for the Britney. I really do not care for people who BARK that she proposed to him twice. Shar was six months pregnant, I think the humiliation she suffered in the public eye no doubt put stress on her pregnancy .He had already experienced her being pregnant and still chose to leave her with three children...btwStress can cause the body to produce certain hormones that can bring on preterm labor.
I donât care how many times Britney waved her shaved celebrity crotch at him. He made the decision to be unsympathetic towards his girlfriend who was caring his child.
I think he is also showing a serious lack of empathy in this custody case towards the seriously troubled and obviously distraught mother of his children. For all her bad behavoir, poor choices and lack of good parenting her peers wishing her nothing but well wishes while she suffers a difficult breakdown is an indication to me that Kevin could possibly have taken a more private rode in his concern for his children...Britney spears is on the edge of something none of us have knowledge of at this moment. Adding to her plight by making her suffer through additional media scrutiny is a deplorable on His part. In my opinion.
Jesus she is not perfect. Leave her alone. She deserves to be with her kids.
Give and take, she better give a hell of a lot more than she has in the past. He may be giving her a test. Hope it's not at the childrens expense.

Well, that is a step in the right direction. It is heartbreaking but she has to take what she can get for now and work up to the rest. And he, the judge, did not make a mistake. The mistake would have been keeping the kids from her. She is not a bad mom. She just needs to learn to be a better mom and with help she can.
She shouldn't be too upset-she got something-stinks the visits are monitored. Does this mean her mother will be "the watcher?"
