One overly energetic contestant flipped out -- and wiped out -- on Drew Carey's first day on "The Price is Right."
Carey, who appears to be holding his own since the departure of Bob Barker, appeared in his first episode of the game show today, and one woman just couldn't stay on her feet after she came on down.
The lady, Aura, not only showed off her gymnastic skills by doing a cartwheel onstage, she also fell flat on her ass after winning "It's in the Bag." Looks like they've waxed those floors since Barker took off!

Drew will easily kill the franchise with absolutely no charisma. Makes you wonder what exec(s) at CBS picked him. They should all be fired. Pat Finn is the perfect replacement.
Drew did a bad job... Maybe it was just first day jitters, but he was flat and boring, with no enthusiasm.
You said Drew Carey was holding his own? Holding his own what? Come on TMZ, don't keep me in suspense. Holding his own what?
I WATCHED TODAY AND I TELL YOU...IT WILL BE THE LAST!!!! HE SUCKS!!!! HE SEEMS OUT OF PLACE!!! HE IS NOT THE CHOICE I WOULD HAVE MADE!!!!! I HOPE HE QUITS SOON BEFORE HE RUNS THE SHOW IN THE GROUND!!!!!!
Oh come on, give the man a chance. He is replacing a television icon for goodness sake. Bob Barker was a beloved host of that show for 35 years and for hardcore fans, no one will ever replace him. I have never been a fan of any game show but Bob Barker is a household name, I wonder if the network should have considered allowing the show to retire with a little dignity. Speaking of dignity, the contestant who made a fool of herself is lucky if she didn't get hurt but deserved to fall on her ass for behaving like an idiot.
Drew seens a little out of place because we were so used to Bob Barker after all those years. Drew is talking a little too fast and short. Barker was slower, more deliberate and less pressuring. If the producers tweak his act a little, he will probably do just fine. I'm beginning to think Richard Karn might have been a better choice for a replacement.
I agree with #9, Drew is a good choice for the Price is Right and I think for the first show he did a good job, people are used to Bob's personality and will have to get used to Drew's style.
He did fine! I've never watched him on tv so had no idea what to expect. He seems like a genuinely nice person which is what made Bob Barker so popular. Give him time, he'll smooth out the rough edges.
i have nothing against drew carey, but he seemed like a fish out of water. his voice is all wrong and i think he is too fat. if he doesn't get better, i will stop watching. i watched bob barker since shows inception and he was very good from the very start. drew carey so far is a big dud
