The American Lung Association has named Jennifer Garner the new national "Face of Influenza" for their new awareness campaign. Was "Face of E. coli" already taken?
Jennifer filmed several PSAs urging at risk people to be immunized against influenza. Nearly 36,000 Americans die each year from influenza or its complications. To put that in perspective, that's more people than liked "Daredevil." Yeah, scary.

Great that they want to get the word out, but were all the other celeb causes taken? Seems like an older "mom" type celeb should hype it. Hell, why not a real Dr.?

We're heading into flu season as I'm sure any intelligent person knows and flu shots are really important for everyone. Get educated, get your shot and quit with the smart cracks all right? I'm glad she's doing this and I'm glad TMZ posted it, I'd actually forgotten about my flu shot until I saw this, oops.
If people would just wash their hands with antibacterial soap -new studies have shown that it doesn't actually cause bacteria to mutate after all.
Stay home when you're sick, duh!
Cover your mouth when you cough or sneeze and teach your kids to do the same.
Keep kids home from school when they're sick, have a little consideration for others.
Don't spit on the sidewalk. There should be laws everywhere against pigs who do that and when you catch someone spitting on the sidewalk everyone in the vicinity should just turn around and start calling them a pig. Serves them right.
