Nicolas Cage was spotted outside TMZ's headquarters on Friday, but he wasn't all that excited about being in such proximity -- attacking our photog after he approached!
After being asked about his creepy naked stalker, Cage lost it. After saying, "I'm a nice guy, this guy's invading my privacy," Nic grabbed the photographer's camera, twisted his arm, then grabbed the tape, ripped it and threw it in the trash! Nice guy indeed!
He was having a bad hair day, but c'mon!

Heres one more vote for Nic! Paps should leave ppl alone that don't want their pics taken. Seems to me that paps push until a celeb snaps so then the pap can sue and get a quick buck for doing nothing. Paps should not be allowed to sue the ppl they are going after, then more celebs would stand up to those paps not giving a crap about the frustration they cause as long as they get paid.

These celebrities would dry up and blow away like old dog crap if it were not for these people taking their pictures. It's become Hollywood hip now to publicly cry, complain, physically attack, verbally assault, and "pretend" to hide their faces from photographers. When they no longer get media attention from the same people they pretend to hate, they always seem to do something stupid and outrageous that get's them the attention back they so hated. Sounds like I'm talking about my ex-wife.

I think what Nicolas Cage did was a totally justified act of self-defense. So many celebrities have experienced the harm TMZ does to them after an encounter with TMZ photogs. If there is a celebrity news source whose sole purpose is to make a sow's ear from a silk purse it is TMZ, and they did it here to Nicolas Cage even without the video. Since female celebrities cannot defend themselves in the way a man like Nicolas Cage can, I expect some of them will soon be packing pepper spray for defense in encounters with TMZ, or maybe hammer them with an umbrella like Brit did.
