Talk about coincidence. I live in NYC on the upper east side and he lives in my neighborhood. I saw him earlier today. He is ok.

He's dead. I saw him get it in "The Godfather".

That was also a rumor floating around for years, until he made appearences on Late Night with Conan O' Brien. I love Abe Vigoda. Barney Miller was one of my favorite show when I was little.

Years and years ago, some news outlet said he had died. It is now a running joke that has gone on for years. I just recently saw him on something. I think it's hysterical that he can be so good natured about it. He appears often on things saying "I'm still alive..."

I've always like Abe Vigoda. I remember that he even got a spin-off show from Barney Miller called Fish, but it bombed.

This rumor started about 30 years ago..every few years they say he died..how old is he ?..he was in 'The Godfathe'also.
