Brandy's Sound System Crashes

61. First, some of these comments need to be erased. Brandy daughter know who her father is !!! He was a unsavory little man, who smeared her in the papers. Brandy was pregnant her spokeperson announced that she had been secretly married. There was a reality show leading up to her delivery date. Later this little man stated they were never married and he didn't love her! In addition, she was not on drugs, talking on the telephone , or left the scene of the accident when this accident happened. If you drive, sometimes you can't help but have an accident. If you drive and never had an accident, I bet you caused an accident !!!! If people didn't preceive her having money, she wouldn't be sued. The prison actor that was just send to jail for less than three years, was on drugs, drinking and had underage (3) teenages in his car. Lets not forget the young man was killed, because he ran into a tree. The parents of the young man killed never sued the actor !!! So leave Brandy alone, she's trying to make a living and take care of her daughter.

1. of COURSE she would perform at a hair convention, shes a spokes person for a hair making company, just like she was for cover girl.

2. even if she was lip syncing, at least she took the time to sing a capella to everyone rather than do a little dance like Simpson.

66. Look at the quality of the production people! It says it all. CHEAP. CHEAP. CHEAP. My nephew's Christmas pageant had better production value than this tragic event. That's what it is a tragic event where she got busted for lip syncing. The video don't lie. Brandy stay home and take care of your kids!!

68. You all need to get a life. Brandy is wonderful, talented young woman. She is a great singer, actress, mom, performer. Yes, she may have made a mistake and has very serious legal problems, but I wish her the best. Not the worst. There are 100's of young woman who have made the same mistakes, but they are not famous and they don't have to answer to the public at large.

I don't feel that Brandy needs to answer to the public either and to see that she is being compared to BS is bull!!

You think it's easy to do what the "stars" do out there? I don't see any of you commenting doing anything with your lives except to "dis" those that do.

Why do you care????? Who are you to say she lip-synced or not and what's the difference. I am quite sure that most of you commenting cannot sing and dance around without getting winded.

Fan or not, give the woamn a break. It's hard enough to get into this business and always have to be running from the fans, non-fans and TMZ and alike.

Look at your own lives before you judge others, especially at the expense of their families.

I really dislike shows like the one that supplies this video and ALL others like it. TRASH TV is what I call it.

69. My My aren't we being a little catty! I mean we can forgive people who have accidents drunk, but Brandy was not drunk and it truly was and accident. What is up with you evil people. Just remember that there is a higher power that see all this ugliness and will send it back 3 fold to you.

Give the girl a break, she has to make a living too and the bottom line is....she can sing! She is not the first person to lip sync......she won't be the last for whatever reason, but she can sing!

70. For the record, Brandy never left the scene. Get your facts straight. She stayed and was very distraught. Brandy is an excellent singer and I knew as soon as I heard the preview copy of her CD that she would be a big hit. I told her mother then that Brandy was something special. I can't wait for the new album. She is no has been. As for the accident, this is Los Angeles and sadly people die on that crazy 405 freeway every day. I rarely comment but you people are sickening!

71. I think she did a good job recovering at least she didnt dance around on stage like an idiot like ashley simpson. She finished her set without the sound system and she did a good job doing it. Shes not washed up at all, at least she looks decent for a pop singer unlike some singers who hit rock bottom right when they hit the top of the charts. I think Im the only one here whos going to say this but you did a good job Brandy!

74. I was there. Brandy was singing along to a pre-recorded track. Meaning, the track was there for assistance, she was singing as well. Another thing, she didn't have to even return to perform, yet like the true artist that she is, she returned and gave an acapella. Don't try and put her down to the level of an Ashlee Simpson, b/c she came out and sang sang perfectly in key with NO music accompanying her.

Hasbeen? Never. Check your facts for that one. As for the idiot who said she was never famous or a star...are you serious? Who was the first black Cinderella? Who had their own Barbie Doll? Who sold over 30 million albums worldwide? Kick rocks on that one.

You all are just haters. And you ALL will be eating your words when her album drops in 2008. Brandy IS modern r&b. Just about every artist that is up-and-coming praises her, as well as established artists (Kelly Rowland, Keyshia Cole, Shareefa, Kierra Sheard, MIssy, etc.)

All these girls y'all probably praise (Britney, Beyonce, Jessica Simpson, Ashlee) lipsynch the majority of their performances, so don't try and bring Brandy down for a sound problem. The sound messed up for 80% of the acts that performed last night.

75. It stinks that Brandy was one of the original teen pop queens before Britney, and everything went down hill fast. She got some endorsements and a show, but she never made money like Beyonce, Britney, and others. I hope she finds her way, but mostly that she is a good mother to her child.
