Did Beauty Queen Cook Up Pepper-Spray Saga?

Remember poor Miss Puerto Rico (yeah, from yesterday), who told the world how her gown and makeup were maliciously spiked with pepper spray, causing her to break out in hives in the middle of the pageant?

Today, a report on NBC News (via People.com) suggests that authorities may be investigating just how Ingrid Marie Rivera snapped back to pristine form so quickly after being terrorized by the oleoresin capsicum in the spray. She says it was ice packs, but according to an NBC News reporter, investigators are "looking into it" and are "curious."

Rivera will be on "Today" tomorrow morning, where Meredith or Matt can be expected to, ahem, pepper her with questions about Spraygate.

16. I just seen a repeat episode of Las Vegas and they were having a beauty pageant, and the same thing happened, and they investigated and as it turned out --- she did it to herself!!!

17. It is a pity that the world has to see just how vindictive and jealous some of these contestants can be. I'm glad that Ingrid Marie won and overcame all the obstacles put before her. I've lived in Puerto Rico and know for a fact that if you are different or better than anyone there you might as well watch your back. Most of the people there are very greedy and they always have to be number ONE! They are very FIERCE competitors in these Beauty Pageants and you don't want to stand in their way! BRAVO for Ingrid Marie!

Shes assuming its pepper spray, so while she could be wrong about that assumption, it COULD still be some other agent WITHOUT the idea of her being sabotaged being made up..If she wanted sympathy she could have mentioned it during the pageant, or perhaps just....fainted...we should hold an innocent until proven guilty approach which anyone in their right mind would want for themselves..that is only fair. When the results come back you can then see if you have a basis for acting like animals and barbarians which it seems most people online usually act like no matter what happens,.barraging the online monitors around the world with personal attacks, insults, ignorance and zero class.
