Despite being born with gorgeous good looks, former "American Idol" runner-up Katharine McPhee still needs to go out and buy good jeans!


While shopping at Robertson Blvd.'s trendy Paige Premium Denim on Friday, the recently engaged 23-year-old got swarmed by paps. Does Taylor Hicks gets this treatment too?!

With her new purchases in tow, Kat gave photogs a glimpse of her new ring. Ok, we're over it!

48. I dont think that shes made alot of money on her cds in fact with her only selling less then 500,000 and all the money they spent promoting her in theatres and so on Her label lost money on her. And clive made that known. Also shes in no way close to carrie underwood in anyway shape or form. Carrie Is more classy, beautiful wholesome and way more popular then Katharine could ever hope to be.. She sold more albums in her 1st week the katharine has sold in 2 years. Sooner or later the paparatzi will bore of her and her antics and drop her completly just like Clive is doing..lol

49. The people posing as Taylor fans dissing Katherine are childish troublemakers trying create hostility.
All the Soul Patrollers I know respect Katherine and wish her nothing but success.
These are the same trolls who attack the comment pages on any Taylor story they see.
They need to grow up and get over it!

50. This is very mundane and stupid. It's amazing how people can get all riled up by a girl buying jeans. Glad I have a real job, not like these nitwits.

Having said that, congratulations on the engagement Kat, and looking forward for that collabo with Foster...one very excited fan here!
