16. How Sad!!! When will someone do something about TMZ and all of the paparazzi that are ruining these young girls lives??? Yes, they wanted to be stars...but there has to be some type of privacy for them. You tabloids should be ashamed of yourselves!!! How do you look at yourself in the mirror everyday? Can you honestly look at yourself and say you are doing a good thing? That you are a good person deep down inside? We all have our judgement day....and we should all be living and doing good things....these are not good things!!

18. She doesn't need her issues vented for ratings.. That's just stupid. Any real doctor would have realized that. She needs help and for once she doesn't need her life on display. She's had her life on display since she was what... 11? Its time for her to be treated like a person instead or a source of income.

19. I applaud Dr. Phil for his decision and think he's gotten a bad rap for this. He was only trying to help. I think Britney is beyond help though and it's so sad for those two little boys. Guess she just doesn't love them.

21. Oh please. He doesn't give a damn about the family.

He made the decision because his attention whoring blew up in his face.

"Dr." Phil is so coddled and so out of touch with reality, he actually believed that he would be perceived as the White Knight, racing to the rescue of the damsel in distress. He thought this would make him look like a hero.

Instead, he got a dose of cold, hard reality. The reality being that while people may watch his show as entertainment, deep down they really don't respect him.

25. What's the difference between Dr. Phil and Bobby Trendy? Nothing. I'm am having a ton of fun with this drama. There is no writer on strike who could come up with a better plot line than the Britney story. I wonder who will play all of these people in the movie version. Hey Hollyweird-- Keep up the good work! This stuff is ten times better than "The O.C."

26. I grew up with a father who was very loving, but was manic. I see some comparisons...especially the one that she cannot see her own problems clearly. Also, manic depressive people sometimes think what they are doing is perfectly fine, when everyone around them knows their actions are not fine, but as a kid, I didn't know what to do about it, except to love him for who he was. My father did take medication, yet struggled with the thought of being on medication, daily. I was glad Doctor Phil was going to try to help. I think the hospital is leaving it up to her and her family to seek help, yet, who can see clearly through this mess? I agree, it has gotten out of hand, yet, who is going to help her???

27. Dr. Phi was being an opportunist and trying to garner huge ratings over Britney's continued suffering. She wouldn't listen to him anyway. The bottom line is that: she's an unfit mother and she no longer wants the inconvenience of having children; she figured out how to make children, but knows nothing about being a real mother, her career is in the toilet and she finally realized that she made a serious mistake (marrying that slimy K-Fed) and it will continue to cost her millions. That last part is enough to drive anyone crazy.
