Eminem -- Not Slim Anymore; Big Health Scare!

EminemTMZ has learned Eminem was rushed to the hospital over the holidays.

Hospital sources tell TMZ Em was taken to a Detroit-area hospital for a serious heart condition and severe pneumonia. Sources tell TMZ Em's weight has ballooned to 212 lbs.

Eminem 's publicist told TMZ: "Over the holidays, Marshall Mathers, aka Eminem, was under doctor's care at a Detroit-area hospital for complications due to pneumonia. He has since been released and is doing well recovering at home."

Wow. I thought the demographic of this site, which obviously should be targeted at a older fan base, would be around 16+ but it's much lower evident by these comments.

It's just sad. I mean I'm kinda his fan XD plus I'm a girl. Anyway he shouldn't be so depressed about this. He should try to move on. I heard he is like this because his friend got shot, and plus his past is pretty bad. I just hope he gets better.

how FAR over 200?

i don't know how tall he is, if he's short...over 200 is too much. If he's not short, i don't think i would consider it ballooning over...

i cannot believe i almost forgot he existed, haven't heard anything about him for some time now

Maybe his weight went up because of steriods they sometimes give you to help you breathe easier when you have pneumonia its been known to make some gain from 20-40 pounds or more in a short time span

Steroid medication is often used to treat pneumonia. Unfortunately, it can cause you to blow up almost instantly with swelling and water retention. This is most likely why (if its even true) Eminem weighs over 200 lbs right now.
