Eminem -- Not Slim Anymore; Big Health Scare!

Eminem TMZ has learned Eminem was rushed to the hospital over the holidays.

Hospital sources tell TMZ Em was taken to a Detroit-area hospital for a serious heart condition and severe pneumonia. Sources tell TMZ Em's weight has ballooned to 212 lbs.

Eminem 's publicist told TMZ: "Over the holidays, Marshall Mathers, aka Eminem, was under doctor's care at a Detroit-area hospital for complications due to pneumonia. He has since been released and is doing well recovering at home."

19. I'm from Detroit and Em has been on the local news here for the past couple of months. The local buzz is that he has been sick for a while now and on lots of meds - including steroids - which could be the cause of his weight gain.

I currently work for a Birmingham, MI law firm and have seen Eminem a number of times over the past couple of years - nice, nice guy. Hope he gets well and hope that terrible Kim leaves him alone forever. He's better off without her.

24. I think pulmonary problems or even heart failure are usually accompanied by weight gain--probably good for at least 20 pounds of fluid retention

I never understood M& M boy's rise to fame anyway... He needs to get a nose job ASAP and stop talking about the mother of his child.. That child will have a word or two for him when it gets older and can voice an opinion..
