Commish Thinks Brit's a Little Meshuggah

britney spearsSources tell TMZ the Commissioner in the Britney case now views mental health -- not substance abuse -- as the root of Britney's problems.

We're told today's witnesses presented a deeply disturbed picture of Spears. The witnesses told the story first reported on TMZ this weekend of a woman out of control. We're also told her the judge was deeply concerned that her instability posed a danger to her children.

Commissioner Scott Gordon was definitely influenced by the fact that Spears chose not to show up in court.

436. Annalee, you are right. What you are talking about is called arrested development. It's been mentioned in regarding Britney before. It has many causes but one main cause is when something interrupts the natural flow of childhood gradually growing and maturing into adulthood. Sometimes a terrible trauma or in her case, Brit's childhood was abruptly ceased with her mother's pushing/pulling/pimping her into stardom without letting her have a real childhood and the sudden rush of fame and sexuality etc. that followed. Mentally Brit is probably about the 12 or 13 year old stage, and the way it's going with no constructive help for her, it's bad news happening. I fear for her.

438. #17 how can you think kids would be better off without there mother. I agree that she needs help and should not be alone with them till she gets help BUT ALL KIDS NEED BOTH PARENTS!!!!! I heard that Kevin does not want to keep the kids from her forever, mabey that is because he is thinging of his kids and not making comments on a stupid site where he only gets the facts that TMZ want us to get.

439. I think Britney does NOT really want the boys. I think she is suffering from that post partum thing, that is multiplied because she lost her image, and deep down in her heart, wants to go back to life BEFORE children. The guilt she feels because of this is tremendous, and someone needs to help her. Not everyone should have children and she definitely should not. Very sad for those innocent babies, but she needs to reconcile with herself that she really does not want them, and then gut it up enough and say it OUT LOUD. She wants to make it be over....own it Brit, or it really will be over. The next time we watch Brit cruisin will be in a hearst to the cemetery.

440. Britney's next crazy adventure I always say. No one can help her because everyone who has tried she's alienated from her life. SHE has to look at herself in the tabs and on TV and in the mirror and tell herself she wants to get better! AND DUMP THE MARRIED GOLD DIGGER!

441. My 28 year old daughter was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder in August of last year. The photos that I have seen of Spears in the last few months remind me of my daughter and are a mirrored image of my daughter. The blank stare, the eratic behavior, the disassociation with friends and family are so similar to the behavior my daughter has displayed. If the Jury is still out on this, let there be no doubt, Brit is Bipolar!!!
