17. Wow, so maybe it was his health that killed him. Anyone with a weak system and not being treated by a doctor is at risk for hearth failure. Add sleeping bills or pain meds to the mix and you've not got much of a chance. From what I've seen he looked to be an addict, and reports say he had an abuse problem. Add a severe illness to that fact and his heart was a ticking time bomb. If cause of death is heart failure I won't be shocked at all.

21. How terribly sad. I would feel better (I know that sounds stupid) if it was from natural causes and not suicide. A 28 year old with a 2 year old daughter has so much to live for. My thoughts go out to his family members and also to Jake G. (can't spell Jakes last name) as he must be devastated also.

27. Being a little red around the neck at least for appearances sake I never talked much with friends about his performance in Brokeback Mtn. But it truly was a brilliant performance. He was robbed of the Oscar IMO. A great talent who no doubt would have provided us all with many more if not for this unfortunate tragedy. A great talent was lost today.
