Brit's Lawyers to Commish -- We Have a Plan...

TMZ has learned Brit's lawyers did exactly what we told you they would do -- they asked Commissioner Scott Gordon today for visitation in a therapeutic setting, but it went over like a lead balloon.

As we first reported, Britney's lawyers know they're up against it -- their client has some sort of bipolar disorder but has refused to commit herself to a mental hospital for evaluation and treatment. She cannot be involuntarily committed. So, her lawyers and family have devised a "creative way" of treating Brit, and they wanted the Commish to let her visit the kids while she undergoes treatment.

We're told Commish Gordon was unmoved, especially since he has repeatedly ordered Brit to undergo a court-ordered psych evaluation, but she has refused.

We're also told Brit's lawyers said this "creative" treatment has not yet commenced.

2. This is a girl who needs help badly, she cant keep going on like this and she needs to be given the proper attention and she needs to be made to realize that she will never ever get her kids back if she doesnt straighten her self up... She just stood outside the doors of the courtroom and then left and it makes no sense... A truly rational parent would be in there fighting for her kids not standing by the door... Someone needs to get her help now before it is too late for her too...

11. This girl is mentally ill---how could her family, or her lawyers, possibly think this crap would work? She doesn't take any of it seriously, she doesn't do anything she has to do to get her kids back, she mocks all the court orders....why do people even keep letting her waste everyone's time...lawyers, the courts, everyone's. Just let her go away so those beautiful children can have a safe, happy life.

14. You would think that perhaps just once, Britney would comply with the judge's request to go get treatment. He could be her best ally but she keeps bucking him. Does she think he's so stupid to grant her anything when she can't follow through with anything he's suggested? How about staying out of the spotlight everyday and for once do something positive.

15. Why doesn't the Judge just tell her that until she gets her evaluation that she isn't going to see those kids and he doesn't want to see her again until she does. She shouldn't get to just waste taxpayer's money with all these useless court dates.
