Pete Doherty Reacts to Ledger's Death

"Reporter" can't speak English clearly, and spews unfounded rumors as if they're fact. Then the headline writer uses words he doesn't know the definition of. "Genu" refers to the knee, and "flect" refers to the bending. Doherty was simply making the sign of the cross. Then, the editor (is there an editor here?) doesn't make the fix. Or maybe the headline writer and the "editor" are the same person. Geez, this site gets worse and worse!

Maybe the U.K. gets better smack than we do. Pete Doherty and Keith Richards are still around. God bless 'em.

Everyone takes every action that Pete Doherty does and turns it into something with negative connotations. He obviously hadn't heard about Ledger's death until that very moment, and all he was doing was making a sign of the cross in memory of him. It's no mystery he's a drug abuser, but that doesn't make him an intrinsically evil or mean-spirited person, just an ill one.
