Brandy is currently being deposed in the civil case stemming from that fatal car accident back in December 2006. TMZ spotted Brandy being dropped off at her lawyer's office today in a gold Range Rover.
Last month, in a long-awaited decision, the L.A. City Attorney decided not to file criminal charges against the singer, whose car struck the vehicle of Awatef Aboudihaj on December 30, 2006. Aboudihaj, a mother of two, died the next day.
Aboudihaj's husband is suing Brandy for an undisclosed amount.

When you rear-end someone its always your fault. Period!! Brandy should have been paying attention to know that the car stopped in front of her. You always have to keep a safe distance with the car in front of you. I hope she pays a lot to that poor family.

why are they suing this woman when the district attorney clearly said that the deceased woman was under the influence of marijuana? i do feel for this woman and her family but let's put the blame where it belongs and stop trying to dig in brandy's purse!!!!

Wow Jen, I too thought it said Britney .. thought she killed someone. Considering her outbursts and behavior along with the fact that she is so often photographed behind the wheel I think it's only a matter of time before she acts out 'with' her car.

Cocao ...even if the woman who was killed did have marijuana in her system she is not responsible for Brandy slaming into the back of her slowing/stopped car and killing her. The blame is where it belongs, on Brandy, who wasn't paying attention and hit slowing/stopped traffic in front of her. She admitted so herself.

Well we knew she wouldn't serve a damn day in jail like the rest of us would. So, she gets away with murder just like they get away with everything. If it was me I would have already been in PRISON for a while. Celebrity justice is not right.

Ahpoo needs to go away. They decided not to press charges against her because it was Ahpoo's wife's fault. She hit something/one before Brandy hit her. She was gonna die anyway. Doesn't he have a gas station to tend to?
