Britney SpearsTMZ has learned UCLA doctors determined Britney did not pose the legal danger to herself or to others, such that they could continue to hold her against her will.

As a result, she was released today and we're told she's already back home.

The conservatorship is still in place. Sources connected with the case say they anticipated that UCLA would probably release her before the 14-day extension because she became cooperative and relatively stable.

We're told the goal with Brit's mom and dad was to establish the conservatorship while she was hospitalized so she would return home to a controlled environment rather than the chaos that consumed her life.

79. She is never going to get better. I feel bad for her two little boys. The paparazzi harassing her is no excuse for her behavior, the dumb A$$ loves it. Showing her crotch, shaving her head, and and cruising around at 2am acting like a nut case. She's asking for it.. Also her having a mental illness is no excuse either, there are a lot of professionals who have a mental illness, and they manage it by TAKING THEIR MEDICATION.. She makes me sick.

82. I have a child who is on Risperdal and Adderall for bi-polar and ADHD which he genetically inherrited from his father. He's fully functioning with or without his medication, but the medication helps to level out his moodswings. It doesn't impare him. I don't want to defend Sam Lutfi because I assume his intentions were to take advantage of her to begin with, but if they don't take their medication that's perscribed to them, someone should step up and get their medication into their system. The PERSCRIBED DOSE! Risperdal is a anti-psychotic and it isn't perscribed on a whim. In order for it to be effective, it has to be consistently taken. Taking her cell phone chargers and cutting the phone line, disabling her vehicles, etc..., perhaps wasn't the best way to go about doing things, but she needed something of the sorts to sheild her and just take her out of the lime light for the time being. I would hope that her parents have more of an interest invested into her getting better, but know this... being bi-polar is caused by genetics. If Brit Brit is bi-polar, someone related to her is as well... could it be either of her parents? (and p.s. They should've stepped in from the beginning regardless of their daughter's wishes... they're her parents.)

85. This woman is in serious need of HELP. Sam Lufit needs to just DISAPPEAR. She should be kept some place safe where she can get the obvious help she desperately needs. Papparazzi needs to get a life an find some other poor schmuck to harrass. Because that is what they are doing, harrassing her.
