Lawyer Claims Britney Held Hostage!

2/17/2008 3:10 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF

Britney SpearsThe lawyer who derailed the Britney Spears conservatorship case tells TMZ Britney herself called him and asked him to take the reins. The question: Will a judge be buyin' what he's sellin'?

Attorney John Eardley filed papers in federal court last Thursday, alleging the California courts have railroaded Britney by imposing a conservatorship. Eardley tells us Britney called him, but he would not disclose the circumstances surrounding the alleged call or what she said. We do know that Michael Sands, who used to be the spokesperson for K-daddy's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, is now the mouthpiece for Eardley. And Sands also reps Sam Lutfi, who is now restrained from all things Britney.

So, are Lutfi and Sands behind the whole magilla with Eardley? Smells like it.

Eardley tells TMZ Britney didn't sign a retainer agreement because she is being "held hostage" in her own home. Ironically, a half hour before he told us this, we looked out our office windows and saw Britney driving through West Hollywood on a shopping spree.

Just by filing the Federal papers, Eardley has paralyzed the California courts from issuing more orders in the conservatorship case unless and until the Federal judge tells Eardley to take a hike.

Why doesn't TMZ go for publicizing the fact that Heidi Klum would take Brittany Spears in???that would be so good for her. Make something positive out of all of this talking you do....

You know it's really none of Nancy Grace's business what Britney does. Nancy needs to get her own affairs in order!

There's not much difference, clinically, between Psychopaths and Sociopaths but Sociopaths are the more dangerous breed. They are by far the more cunning, intelligent and personable than Psychopaths. They also do not experience fear.
They are exceptionally dangerous because their destructiveness is not easily recognized and their talents often bring them admiration.

Points to ponder

1. Is he self-centered or egocentric?

2. Does he manipulate others by reading very quickly their vulnerabilities?

3. Does he feel little guilt, shame or remorse? Is he capable of weaving a web of lies and deceit?
Above all, does he feel impervious to discovery?

4. Does he have superficial charm, does he relate well to people on a superficial level?

5. Is he able to love? or to demonstrate long-term loyalty? Can he feel normal human empathy?
Can he possess deep affection for others?

6. Does he have an attitude of superiority and an inflated arrogant self-appraisal?

7. Does he use others? Is he a cheat? A liar?
Does he lie for the pleasure of it, as well as what he can get out of his lies?

8. Does he pursue instant gratification? Does he use others for his own self-aggrandizement?

9. Has he demonstrated radical mood swings, such as from amicable to angry?
Maybe even violence?

10. Other indicators …
Few close friends. Frequently unsettled and agitated. Does not like to be alone. Becomes agitated in own company.

she's such a hostage that she has repeatedly been photographed with a cell phone and/or blackberry in hand. Lutfi is full of s**t, so is Sands and Eardley. this is smoke and mirrors designed to keep Lutfi's name in the discussion for as long as possible. He can't stand that he's OUT and that people now know exactly the type of person he is. go LAPD! May your investigation prove successful and Lutfi goes to jail where he belongs.

An interesting profile of a Sociopath.
Rather fits Osama Lutfi .. and Michael Sands in fact.
Even Kevin Federline seems to have a number of those characteristics.

They can't even begin to imagine that what they want might be amoral, illegal and/or infringe upon other's rights.
Even if they did, those considerations mean nothing to them.
They see others as things, not as real, as feeling, living human persons. Those that sociopaths associate with have no value to them other than as objects who must do as they wish or be used for what they want. Sociopaths are very dangerous indeed, especially if they have a superficial charm and are good actors.
The family Spears may have made mistakes but they are caring, loving people who are doing what they must to rescue their daughter from absolute, real and very serious danger to her life and future. Britney Spears was in the hands of a person who would murder her if he was sure he could get away with it. With the Spears family intervention, there is little doubt that Britney would not have survived Osama Lutfi's machinations.

Does anyone know when this is being heard in court?

WITHOUT the Spears family intervention there is little doubt that Britney would not have survived Osama Lutfi's machinations.

I felt that with all the comments here, most from people who are truly indignant and concerned about Osama Lutfi's machinations, as well as the leaping lawyers all trying to get a piece of the action (the dollars) some might be interested in what these people are really all about.
You will always find them sniffing around where the dollars are, and if there is any way they can get their jollies from associating with the wealthy and famous, so much the better.
They actively ENJOY seeing someone who has been successful becoming damaged and losing all they have worked for. If they can control that process, so much the better.
You could say that the real definition of evil is mediocrity ... because most of these people are fundamentally mediocre and /or are rarely truly creative or successful in their own right. They get what they want on the back of those who are creative and do have wealth and/or recognition for their hard work and talents. Nasty stuff, and yes, they are everywhere.
