Wow, some of you people just wont let the Dixie Chick thing go, eh? What I find interesting is that nowadays people rip on the president publicly every single day & it is not only accepted but almost celebrated.

The only thing Natalie Maines did "wrong" was make an Anti-Bush comment during a time when people still really needed to believe that Bush was actually going to take care of this country. We all know how that went & the general consensus reflects his low approval rating. If anything, I think people should be ashamed at the backlash that was perpetuated at these ladies.

Here in Texas alone they have been banned for over 2 years from my local "country music radio channels". Just in the last year have they been played on the radio. They never bad mouthed America or our troops. They used their freedom of speech to state their dislike in another country for the current president. Not one time have they backed down or apologized for the better of their career or pocketbook. It's called freedom and I do like them no matter what the "MAJORITY" says. "Dixie Chicks", I will defenitly come see you when you are able to tour again. GOD BLESS FREEDOM OF SPEECH!. Even if I will continue to have to read the "funny and mad" comments around here.
