Rapper T.I. has just plead guilty to federal weapons possession charges -- and will spend one year behind bars!
T.I., real name Clifford Harris, will begin his sentence after completing at least 1,000 hours of community service -- talking to kids about the dangers of drugs, gangs and guns.
The rapper plead guilty to possession of an unregistered firearm, possession of machine guns and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

He pled guilty as has this gone to trial and found guilty he would do an automatic 10 years for the automatic weapons and being a convicted felon. Smart move, this way he only does one year.
But bad move all the way around---to think such success, fame and fortune and he has to arm himself and make arrangements to get more weapons...he will pay dearly in the penitentary for protection and will be extorted, shamed and "protected" by those who will abuse him even when he does pay...but paying up will save his life. A very sad situation that was quite preventable.
Please dont come back to Society with the cess pool of knowledge and hate you will gain from this experience...leave us alone and stay away from weapons.

So he will get to stay OUT of jail for at least 5 months with all of that community service. That is idiotic. He needs to sit in jail for the year he was sentenced to and THEN do his community service.

The kids and teens who listen and admire him need to learn you don't have to be shot or shoot at someone to prove your a tough guy. You dumb azzez! He did the perfect thing. He played the system like any of you dummies would've done. 1 year. That's nothing. His fan base will only be stronger when he gets out. And if I recall right our "fore fathers" gave us all the right to bear arms. With whatever and as many as we want. Don't get it twisted people. And call those "thug" rappers whatever you want.
