Martha's Dead Dog: It's a Good Thing?

Martha Stewart can make a beautiful occasion out of any dinner party, wedding, even a stock trade gone bad -- but the carcass of your dead dog?!

The ex-con media mogul's nearly 13-year-old dog, Paw Paw, died of renal failure on Saturday and she's posted a creepy pic on her blog of the expired pup -- entombed in a sheet with an adorable little bow wrapped around him. Death is pretty!

Just imagine what Martha could do with your Aunt Sally's cremated remains?!

136. Dogs who have been together a long time need to know what happened to the missing one. My dog had to be put down from bone cancer that had spread. I didn't bring her body home and wish I had. Her brother (they were both 12) didn't understand and refused to eat. The vet said there was nothing that could be done unless he wanted to live. He died less than a week later, from grief. Dogs don't look at death like we do. To them, it's finality and that's all. They get it, and accept it.

There's nothing wrong with Martha's posting of the picture, or letting the other dogs investigate. It's natural to them! We're the ones who may think it morbid (which I don't). Losing a pet is very hard. We all deal with it differently.

139. Kedney failure can occur if the dog is fed Raisins or grapes. As They contain an enzyme that causes kidney (renal) failure in dogs. Creepy picturee.
