8. I am a fan of Elvis' music. I am tired of Precilla playing the ex-wife. She cheated with her karata teacher, she and Elvis divorced. She lived with that instuctor, never married him so as not to give up Presely name. She married another guy, had a son, whom you never hear about, because only the Presley name makes money for her. And don't start telling me Graceland would not be there for us to see if it weren't for her. She did it for herself, more in the public eye and look at me thing, plus she got lots of money from it and still does. She has skated on his name for years. She looks like she is inside, not really a nice person.

10. To #8 andy, I agree with you 100%. Presley was way over-rated as an entertainer and his movies were horrible. To #10 carolyn, I find it funny how you put Pricilla down. Yes, she admitted in her book to cheating but what about Elvis? He messed with her when she was 14 years old...he was never faithful to her or any woman. He had a major drug problem, he squandered money like there was no tomorrow. He too lived with women and did not marry them. But it is fine with you that he lived like a pig....Pricilla admits to things in her life but you trash her. Maybe you are jealous of her? Hmm? And yes she did save Graceland for the public who did care for Elvis. She also built a fortune for his only child, when he squandered just about everything. Tell me carolyn, if you were in her place and had to put up with his buddies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, knew of his sexual escapades with other women and had no affection once you had his child, what would you do? accept it and live with it? Pricilla Presley is a human being, not perfect like the rest of us. I am no fan of her but I do have some respect for her. Elvis went from having nothing to being literally on top of the world and he threw it away. He was immature and didn't even have the common sense to have decent management. He had one child that he tried to buy her love when he didn't have to buy it, all he needed to do was be a man and be her father...not a drug addicted womanizing jerk. He was no saint and neither was Pricilla but she gave him a child, his only child. She did what she had to, right or wrong.

12. Elvis became bloated, over indulgent and a womanizer, but left Priscilla sleeping alone. She eventually did what she had to do. Would you remain in a weird, celibate marriage? Well, she did, and longer than most. She later showed largesse in saving Graceland. She didn't need his money. Lisa Marie, as a beneficiary, would never leave her own Mother wanting. Priscilla saw the larger picture, put aside her feelings (although she had probably already forgiven him long before) , and did it for the fans and his legacy, for the benefit of tourism for the area, plus probably for some benefit for the estate. Carolyn #10 needs to actually read the history before commenting.
